You Need a Permanent Fix

Meditation:

    Life comes with many challenges and issues that cause chaos, confusion, sorrows, pain, disappointment, and frustration. Persons tried desperately to regulate intense negative emotions in whatever way or however they could to drown their sorrows and get relief, which is not the most effective strategy. Many are those who are overwhelmed by hurt, loneliness, rejection, mistakes, bad choices, financial debt, family crises, failures, etc., and are seeking solutions by turning to sources that only provide temporary support. Alcohol, drugs, gambling, smoking, sexual immoralities, lascivious indulgence, etc. are only temporary solutions and cannot fix the root causes created by your situation. These will only cause more harm than good, plunging you deeper into sin and a life rejecting the creator. If you are struggling with problems you can't handle, Jesus can fix them for you. If there is too much going on in your life and you cannot find a way, Jesus is the way. My Jesus is bigger than all our problems and the mountains that we cannot mount. The invitation is open to all who need Him. He will not turn you away. The Lord will redeem his servants, and no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. He will take the heavy burden that you are laden with and give you rest. His yoke is easy, and this burdens his light. 

Let us pray:

    Merciful, wonderful Saviour blessed redeemer, and friend, I am grateful for your loving kindness and tender mercies towards us. Father, I am grateful that when we turn to you, you will not turn your back nor forsake us. Almighty God, I am thankful that when we seek you with all our heart, you will hear us when we call. O God, this morning I intercede on behalf of those who are hurting, those who are drowning their pain in temporary solutions. Will you touch them, Almighty God, and comfort their broken spirit? Almighty God, will you lift their burdens this morning and replace them with your yoke? Grant, O God, the peace of Jesus Christ to those who are overwhelmed by their problems. Show up, Daddy Jesus, and rescue the perishing, the weary and desperate ones. Father, Heavenly Father, will you cleanse us from every defilement of body and spirit and bring holiness to completion in the name of Jesus Christ, our deliverer. Amen.
