Please Come to My Rescue
Good morning
Praise song: Pass Me Not
Meditation:
In the above-mentioned chapter, we learn about Blind
Bartimaeus's story and how he sat by the wayside begging for alms so he could
supply his needs. Maybe he had no other choice but to seek aid from passersby.
Blind Bartimaeus was not content with being visually impaired. He must have
heard about Jesus Christ, love, mercy, and compassion towards others and all
the miracles that he had performed, for when he heard that Jesus Christ was
passing, he shouted desperately, saying, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy
on me. The crowd wanted him to keep silent, but he never stopped shouting until
the Master heard his cry. Blind Bartimaeus desired to gain his sight, and
through his faith, he was made whole. Immediately after he received his sight,
he followed Jesus Christ. What is your plea this morning? Like Blind
Bartimaeus, you can receive your breakthrough and deliverance. Do not allow
your physical impairment, disabilities, or paralytic condition to paralyze you
when help is available. There is help for the helpless, hope for the hopeless,
freedom from sin for sinners, and miraculous healing for the spiritually
impaired, physically lame, wounded, and afflicted. Jesus is just a prayer away,
so call on Him today.
Let us pray:
Merciful, miraculous, wonder-working God, we come into your presence with our various types of conditions and disabilities. Father, God of mercy, hear the desperate cries of the brokenhearted, the spiritually blind, the feeble-minded, the physically and spiritually weak, the wounded, the sick, the lame, the crippled, the outcast, and sinners as they humbly bow in your presence. Have mercy and compassion on us, most high, faithful God, as we have no one to turn to but you. Almighty God, if we have found favor in your sight as we exercise our faith, please deliver us, heal our sicknesses and diseases, and purify our hearts and minds, O Lord. Gracious Father, while we kneel at your throne of mercy to find relief for our troubled minds, as we cry out unto you, do not pass us by. Into your hands we commit our conditions, O God. Do for us what you did for the many you have healed and set free. Touch us with your healing hands and restore, O God, unto us what the enemy has taken. Revive us again, Lord, and keep our thoughts focused on thee. Hear our humble cry; we plead in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Be strong and courageous. God is with you. 💪🙏
Peace and love.
