The Way That Seems Right

Good Morning

Scripture reading: Proverbs 16:17

Worship song: Highway to Heaven

Meditation:

Many are not aware of the significance of the Bible, and some of those who do spend little or no time seeking guidance and direction from it. The Bible is our compass, and the Holy Spirit is our guide to lead us to the heavenly highway. This highway is called the way of holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, only the redeemed (Isaiah 35:8). The psalmist realized its value and penned these words: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. I hid in my heart your word that I might not sin against you (Psalm 119:11, 105). He said, show me your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths. Lead me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation. Lead me down the path that leads to everlasting life (Psalm 25).

The highway to salvation is long; you will encounter many obstacles, trials, and tribulations along the way; the path is narrow and winding but continue until you reach your destination. The way to success is never easy, and so is the highway that leads to Heaven. If your lifestyle is contrary to God's command and precepts, you cannot travel on this highway. The ungodly cannot travel on this path because his heart is evil and his lips speaketh guile. There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Are you on God's highway? Jesus is the way, the Bible is the compass, and the Holy Spirit is your guide.

Let us pray:

Saviour, more than life to me, bind me closer to thee and let me feel your cleansing power. Lord, as I travel the highway that leads to Heaven with the redeemed, let your word be a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Almighty God, order my steps in your word and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Keep my tongue from evil, O God, and my lips from speaking guile. Lead and guide me, Jehovah God, through the narrow and winding path that leads to salvation. When I become weary, when my faith is tested, and I am struggling to overcome the obstacles along the path, lead and direct me, mighty God, until I am safely home through Jesus Christ, the way, the truth, and the light. Amen.

Have a blessed day. 💕🙏

  1. The truth is a painful reality.
Admit it, confess it, declare it and it will set you free. Those who hide from it run from it, will realize that at the judgment one will have to look truth square in the eyes and receive the consequences for the good or bad. Let us face it. What the Lord requires of us is what He requires of us and that will not change. One just have to use the time He allotted us to get things right. Let everyone see to walk in His precepts and statues. Shalom.
