Meditation:

    The psalmist, David, was not free from trouble and haters. During his life, he had many enemies. Many rose against him, including King Saul, whom he had helped to defeat the Philistine giants who fought against Israel. David was not afraid of the host that encamped roundabout and against him, for he knew the God whom he served. Through it all, David trusted God and built a relationship with Him. David's only desire was to dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of his life. He trusted God and believed that He would shield him from all his enemies. Through it all, David learned to depend upon God and trust Him with his whole heart. Through it all, David triumphed over his foes. Through it all, David overcame trials and tribulations because he trusted and believed in God. 

    If we trust God with everything that we are going through, we can overcome and be victorious over those who rise against us and the situations that we encounter. Through it all, put your faith and trust in God, for He will shelter you in His secret pavilion during times of trouble. 

Let us pray:

    My rock and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust, I am grateful for your sustaining grace and your mighty hand that shields us when the storms of life are raging over us. Rock of ages, I thank you for always protecting us from those whose desire is to destroy us and defeat us. I pray, O God, that no matter what we are going through, we will continue to trust and confide in you, the all-knowing, omnipresent God whose wisdom and power far exceed our capabilities. Father, I depend on you, knowing I cannot accomplish anything without your help, so I beseech you, Lord, to defend us from the giants that have risen against us. Father, through it all, I pray we will learn to depend upon you for guidance, deliverance, victory, and breakthrough, and by your power, we will prevail over every giant. Almighty God, I exalt you, I adore you, and I am grateful to you for all the blessings, the promises, and the victories you have won on our behalf in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

    We have come this far by faith leaning on the Lord. As we journey on let us ask Him to hold us close to Him and never let us go. Shalom.

Good morning Scripture: St. Matthew 15:8-20 Worship song: Create in Me A Clean Heart   Meditation:      The heart symbolizes the center or core of our being from which we operate. It is like the driving force behind our actions. It can be referred to as a person's character or the place within a person where feelings or emotions are generated. The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Jeremiah, the prophet, says, who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9). Only God can. He searches the heart, tries it, and rewards every man according to his ways and the fruit it produces. Miracle Working God

Good morning Blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. (Jeremiah 17:7). Hymn: My Hope is Built on Nothing Less   Testimony:      When God has you covered, when his hands of mercy and grace are extended, and when your faith is stronger than your situation, you can rejoice and glorify the King of kings. My faith and trust in God are further heightened, and my hope has increased after hearing a victory testimony from a relative who doctors thought had no chance of survival after his diagnosis. I can truly say my God is good, O, and he is still working miracles. A recent medical examination determined that there was no trace of cancer in his body. Through prayer, praise, faith, trusting God, a strict diet plan, follow-up visits to the physician, and nurture and care by his loving wife, who stood by him, pampering, comforting, and nursing him, he is now rejoicing and giving God thanks.
