Help Me, Please
Good morning
Scripture reading: St. Luke 18: 35-43
Worship song: He Will Carry
When the blind man heard that Jesus of Nazareth was passing
through Jericho, he cried out without fear for Jesus to have
mercy on him. He knew he had a condition that only Jesus could fix. His concern
was not about those who wanted to shut him up but about his deliverance. Giving
sight to the blind and bringing people out of darkness into his marvelous light
was the reason why Jesus came, and he did it willingly. Jesus came not for the
righteous but to help sinners and grant them the peace of God. Jesus, the Light
of the world, fulfilled the messianic prophecies of bringing freedom for
prisoners of darkness and recovery of sight for the blind. There are many blinded by their sinful deeds, meddling in that which displeases God. There are those
who are bound by addiction, deception, and indulging in iniquities, but if you
cry out to Jesus, He will help. His overwhelming, astonishing mercy is beyond
measure and available to those who call upon him. Jesus demonstrates his love
by delivering those who are bound by their infirmities. The blind man never
ceases to cry out to Jesus, even though he was rebuked by those around him. The
same Jesus who physically heals the blind is waiting to heal you spiritually
and physically. It matters not what you are going through; God is able to
deliver you, but you must first have the desire to be set free. There is still
hope for the hopeless, help for the helpless, and deliverance for those who are
captivated and bound by their infirmities. You need the Lord's help, so release
your worry, your problems, and your addictions to God. He knows everything that
is going on in your life, and he alone can fix it.
Sovereign God, I give you thanks for your grace and tender
mercies towards us. Lord, you are the only wise God who can deliver us out of
darkness, out of that which bound us, and so God, I seek your help for those
who are bound by deception, iniquities, sin, and infirmities. Lord, we need
your help to rescue those who are trapped in the wilderness, blinded by their
sinful deeds. Father, have mercy on the perishing; rescue them, O God, from the
stronghold of Satan and his cohorts of darkness. Lord, I pray that the veil be
ripped from the eyes of those who are beguiled by the deceiver. Grant recovery
of sight to the blind, O God; bring prisoners out of prisons; and bring those
who live in darkness out of dungeons into your marvelous light in the name of
Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen. (Child of the King).
Have a great and peaceful day. 🙏💪
There is no cry for help that is so faint that Jesus cannot hear. His ears are always open to the cries of His children. David said this poor man cried and the Lord heard him and deliver him out of all his troubles.
ReplyDeleteThe scape goat that was driven deep into the wilderness laden with sacrifice it's cry was so faint it could hardly be heard because of how deep in it was, it appears that way for us and others but the Lord hears us. He will take care of us. Have a wonderful day. Blessings.
