Total Spiritual Eclipse

Good morning

Scripture Reading: Romans 6:1-18

Worship Song: Empty Me

 Meditation:

On April 8, 2024, parts of North America witnessed the Great North American Eclipse, a remarkable total eclipse. According to astronomers, this occurs when the Moon's apparent diameter is larger than the Sun's, blocking all direct sunlight. Just as this phenomenal total eclipse can darken the horizon, similarly we can experience a spiritual eclipse in our lives.

A total spiritual eclipse occurs when sin takes precedence over righteousness, dimming the light of Christ within us and leading to a state of spiritual darkness. It represents a period of gloom when we are consumed by worldly cares and living to gratify the desires of the flesh rather than glorifying God.

During this Spiritual eclipse, it can obstruct our ability to feel God's love and understand divine principles, potentially leading to spiritual dryness. Total spiritual eclipse happens and is evident when sin dominates holiness and righteousness. Even though we may experience a spiritual eclipse God's divine grace always provides a path to restoration.

We can overcome spiritual darkness by pursuing an intimate relationship with God, engaging in prayer and spiritual practices, repentance, and fervently seeking guidance through the scriptures. It takes divine connection to dispel spiritual darkness.

Let us pray:

Most righteous eternal Father, I call upon you, Lord, to have mercy on us and allow your light to illuminate through the existence of darkness in every aspect of our lives. Father, when there is a spiritual eclipse, I pray the light of Jesus will reflect in the dark and consume the darkness that engulfs us. I ask of you, Lord God, to remove every obstruction that may block our vision of the light of Jesus Christ. May your light shine within us constantly, lighting the path for others to see. I pray your divine grace, Lord God, will always be present to restore us whenever we face a spiritual eclipse. Lord, we care not to sin presumptuously, yet at times we find ourselves wrestling with carnality, leaving us doubting our faith. May we always have a glimmer of light to guide us through the wilderness of temptation. Empty us, O God, of everything that blocks the operation of the Holy Spirit and let your divine light illuminate every darkness in our minds, hearts, and souls in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

                                                                Peace ✌and love💕
