The Trial
Good morning
Scripture reading: St. Matt 26 & 27
Worship song: Mercy walked in
Meditation:
There are persons imprisoned, who are wrongfully convicted because of a miscarriage of justice, and there are criminals who are freed because of errors of impunity. Miscarriages of justice and errors of impunity can cause one to undermine public trust in the criminal justice system and can have devastating consequences for individuals, families, and society.
Over 2000 years ago, a false accusation led to the arrest, trial, conviction, and ultimately crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Although He was blameless, full of kindness, compassion, and love, and had no criminal record, he was unjustly condemned to die. The prosecutors may have intended his death for harm, but God transformed this event into redemption for the benefit of sinners in the entire world. Jesus was innocently convicted, yet his death was divinely orchestrated to fulfill God's covenant, offering salvation to humanity.
Jesus paid the ultimate price for the remission of our sins, granting us the opportunity for abundant life. To receive this gift, we must fully surrender our hearts, minds, and souls to Him without reservation.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, great are you Lord, and greatly to be praised. Your greatness is unsearchable. I will forever exalt you, O God, my King. Almighty God, the God who rescues the perishing and cares for the dying, Mighty in battle, only you, O God, know why the innocent pay the penalty for a crime they didn't commit. Mighty God, I honor You, for you were once crucified and died a cruel death to pay the price for our sins. Awesome God, have mercy upon those who have been incarcerated wrongfully. Almighty God, please comfort the broken and weary-hearted. Give them the strength to cope in. the midst of adversity. Please see them through these tough times and let them come to know you and find hope in you as the God that comforts us in all our troubles. Mighty God, may they find freedom in Jesus Christ and live a life surrender to You. Touch them in a very special way, O God, guide and keep them safe through Jesus Christ our Redeemer. Amen.
Have a peaceful day. ✌🙏
Bless God forever more Amen
ReplyDeleteLord this is our desire to glorify and honor you. Reflecting on the complete package of our freedom and redemption we should go forward knowing we are free and be not again entangled in the yoke of bandage. People are so forgetful. The greatest price ever paid for our freedom should never be forgotten. One should train their thoughts to remember daily just like any thing we do daily. God bless. Keep writing.
ReplyDeleteLord, may every trial bring me closer to you in Jesus name.
