In Need of A Detox

Good morning

Scripture reading: Ezekiel 36:24-28

Worship song: Clean Heart

Meditation:

God designed our bodies to naturally convert toxins into non-toxic substances, with the ability to excrete waste through various organs. However, poor lifestyle choices can hinder the body of its natural detoxification mechanism, potentially leading to health deterioration and various health issues. Similarly, when the toxicity of sin and iniquity accumulates, it can lead to the hardening of the heart. The attributes of a hardened heart are but not limited to pride, stubbornness, resistance to spiritual truth, and difficulty in recognizing and repenting from sin. The accumulation of sin can lead to separation from God, a decline in spiritual growth and well-being, a marred conscience, and a lack of compassion and forgiveness.

A heart full of sin cannot experience the joy and peace of the Lord. The heart cannot naturally excrete sins; it requires confession, repentance, and God's divine grace and mercy to detox and purify us of all unrighteousness. A detoxed heart is purified from all sin and iniquity and seeks only to align its thoughts, desires, and actions to the will of God. If you desire to follow God, you must surrender, repent, and seek spiritual cleansing from the Holy God to detox your heart, mind, and body from every sin that so easily besets you.

Having, therefore, these promises of purity, dearly beloved, let us seek cleansing from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in fear of God. God the Creator is the only one who can forgive sin and detox us of the sin that has accumulated in our hearts.

Let us pray:

Everlasting Father, God of mercy, grace, love, and compassion, we place our vessels marred with sin under your searchlight and ask that you examine us thoroughly. We pray, Lord God, for a revelation of every hidden, unconfessed sin and the revealing of every action, thought, or deed that we have hidden in the secret chambers of our hearts. Lord, we acknowledge our struggle to overcome sin, and we understand that only you can forgive sin, so we seek your forgiveness and ask that you forgive us of the sin that so easily besets us. We look to you, Lord God, to detox our minds and our hearts of every sin, known and unknown. Purify us, Lord God, of all filthiness, remove our stony hearts and give us hearts of flesh, and renew a right spirit within us. Almighty God, help us to overcome ungodly thoughts and pursue holy communication in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. (Child of the King).

Have a lovely day. 💕🙏

  1. Make us whole we ask heavenly father. There is no way we could be restored if it wasn't for the shed blood of Jesus Christ. We can be made whole regardless of our many mars and scars.
None of us can boast of our standings because we are kept only by the power of the Almighty. So humility is the road everyone must walk on. Keep traveling my friend because we dear not walk alone. Peace and love. Stay strong. One love.❤️🙏❤️🙏

  2. Lord, you are the potter and I am the clay. Do whatever it takes, Lord to mend this marred vessel and make it whole.
