Healing is Our Daily Bread
Good morning
Scripture reading: Isaiah 53: 3-8
Worship song: Oh How He Loves
Meditation:
God's compassionate love is the source from which healing flows. His divine love brings spiritual, emotional, and physical healing for our body, mind, soul, and spirit, providing hope, restoration, and newness. His act of mercy surpasses human capability as demonstrated through the sacrificial offering of Jesus Christ. Jesus' suffering was a demonstration of selfless, divine love, in which He willingly endured humanity's punishment for our redemption, forgiveness, and healing. God's love draws Him to our deepest hurts, offering hope of complete healing of all our diseases, mending of wounds, and restoration of brokenness.
Our burdens are many, yet God assures
complete deliverance from every one of them. He loves us and knows what it
takes to help us draw closer to Him. As believers, we are empowered with agape
love, and we must share this love to encourage and bring hope to the hopeless.
When we actively embrace the transforming power of Christ's divine love, we
will be moved to actions that reflect the depth and sincerity of our faith.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, I am grateful for your only begotten Son by
whose stripes we are healed. Thank you, Almighty God, for your uncommon favor
of limitless grace and abundant mercy. Lord, we stand on the truth of your word
in Isaiah 53 that we are healed by your stripes. We find comfort and assurance
in Psalms 147, believing your faithful promise to bind our wounds and heal our
broken hearts. Almighty God, we surrender our emotional, physical, and
spiritual brokenness, hurts, and wounds to you. Please mend and restore the
areas of our lives that are broken, especially our personal relationship with
You, Lord. We glorify and praise You, Lord God, for Your deep and infinite love
for us in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen.
Wishing you a joyful day. 👏💞🙏
Thank God that we are fixable, if it was that once we are broken we are done, no one would be left, all would die in their sins but it is not so. God specializes in mending brokenness, every aspect of one's life. As the song reminds us, make me whole, make me whole, that is what we need daily because we are fragile and as we traverse this world of ills, we pick up nails if we drive in our tires spiritually speaking, flying objects lying on the road and other things. This bread is for all because broken we become often. 🙏🙏💪
