Not Satisfied with The Husk

Good morning

Scripture reading: St. Luke 15:11-32

Worship Song: Satisfied

Meditation:

The prodigal son, driven and blinded by his desire for freedom, ultimately faced the harsh truth of his reality, living a life contrary to what he truly valued. Like many of us, he embarked on what he thought was a pursuit of the best life, yet he later discovered that a life lived without Jesus Christ is heavily laden with sin and emptiness. Too often, we find ourselves comfortable in our struggles, settling for the husk of our poor choices instead of embracing the divine grand cuisine that the Lord has prepared for us. How much longer will you remain unaware that the Almighty Father stands ready to welcome you home? God values you more than any career or material gain.

The life you crave, one of true purpose, is found with Christ. There is immense joy in heaven whenever someone decides to leave a life of sin behind. If you are weary of striving for fulfillment in all the wrong places, come to Jesus now and trade your heavy burdens for his peace. You have nothing to lose except the heavy burden of your sin. If you sense a strong divine nudge, it is the Lord's invitation to change your ways and follow the Saviour. Rise from your slumber, from the ashes of defeat, and turn to God. The Lord does not deal with us according to our sins, but in his great mercy, he forgives. Open up your heart and talk to Jesus; He is only a prayer away.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, clothed in splendor and majesty, you are worthy to be praised. Almighty God, thank you for your unwavering grace, compassion, and tender mercies. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for rescuing me from the perils of the dark domain. Today, I lift up my family, my friends, my loved ones, and acquaintances before you. I ask that your Holy Spirit may move upon the hearts of those who have heard your name and draw them into a saving relationship with you. Lord, I pray for those who have lost their way and are walking in darkness. Please shine your light on their path and open their ears to your call. May they feel your unconditional love and return to you willingly, with a renewed spirit. While they may seek earthly satisfaction, may they turn to you to find true fulfillment while grace and mercy still abound in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wishing you a blessed day. Shalom. ✌💞🙏
