Call Upon The Lord

Good morning

Scripture reading: Matthew 20:29-34

Worship song: He's Only A Prayer Away

Meditation:

The blind men sitting by the wayside likely spent many years enduring their affliction, waiting to be delivered, waiting for the opportunity to be made whole. They must have grown weary and tired of being in the same place and in the same situation. Nonetheless, they waited patiently, anticipating a breakthrough, believing that their change would come. When they heard Jesus passing by, they knew this was their moment of deliverance, and so they shouted with a loud voice, asking Jesus to have mercy on them. The crowd told them to be quiet, but they shouted all the louder, showing that faith persists through opposition.

Continue to praise God loudly, for your victory is secured by Jesus. No one has the power to keep you in bondage unless you give them authority. Praise is your most powerful weapon when you are low in the spirit, when you are in the valley, and when your storm is raging. Break free from the limitations of your situation.  Do not heed the voice of those who want to enslave you in your situation. There is victory, healing, and power in the name of Jesus. Jesus can rescue you from your wilderness experience. He is only a prayer away.

Let us Pray:

My dependable Father and God, I glorify and bless your holy name. Almighty God, I present to you today the situations that limit us and keep us bound. We surrender to you, Almighty God, our brokenness, emptiness, and our barrenness. Father, we acknowledge our limitations and invite Your presence to rule our minds, hearts, and souls. I ask You to shatter the yokes of bondage, bless us with spiritual eyes, and grant us complete liberation. Protect us from those who seek to harm us. Rescue us, O God, from the snares of the fowler, his cohorts, and the noisome pestilence. God of compassion, have mercy on us and deliver us speedily from our foes, from the obstacles that paralyze us in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer. Amen.

Wishing you a wonderful day. 👏💖🙏
