There Is No Perfect Church

Good Morning

Scripture Reading: Ephesians 2

Worship Song: If Not for Grace

Meditation:

The famous minister Charles H. Spurgeon once said, "The day we find the perfect church, it becomes imperfect the moment we join it". Your own imperfections, upon joining, would "spoil" the already imperfect church. The church is like a hospital, it embraces people with diverse spiritual needs, providing a sanctuary where everyone can find the healing, deliverance, and breakthrough they seek. The church serves as a means for God to manifest His wisdom, grace, and truth to the world.

As a church, we must embrace Christ's teachings fully, instruct and guide each other wisely through psalms, hymns, and spiritual song, and offer our collective worship unto God with gratitude. Though the church is imperfect it must always demonstrate God's moral standards, rooted in Biblical principles and character, by living with spiritual integrity in every action and intention.

Do not be discouraged by imperfections within the church, as it is simply a reflection of the people who make it up. You will never find a perfect church anywhere on earth because the church is made up of imperfect people. Despite its flaws, Spurgeon considered the church the most beloved place on earth, a nursery for God's children and a fold for His sheep.

Let us pray:

Sovereign God, we adore and exalt your holy name. We sincerely thank you, Almighty God, for choosing us as a royal priesthood out of darkness into your marvelous light. Guided by the Holy Spirit, we sing praises unto you, our King. Lord, we acknowledge our imperfections and understand that only by your divine grace can we be made perfect. Father, we seek your divine strength and mercy to guide and direct us on this spiritual journey. We embrace your teachings and gladly turn away from a life of self-will and sin toward one of obedience and commitment to you, Lord God. As believers and children of God, may our lives reflect the character of Christ as we demonstrate the transformative power of the Gospel. May the light of Christ radiate through us for the world to see and bring glory to your name through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wishing you a peaceful day. ✌💖🙏

Therefore every one have to examine themselves and seek cleansing. Perfection is gained by recognizing the need for cleansing each time and do so with the Lord's provision and overtime the Lord will determine that. God bless and keep us right with Him. 🙏🙏
