Procrastination is a Deadly Trap
Good morning
Scripture reading: Exodus 12: 29-33
Worship song: Run to The Father
Meditation:
The moment Pharaoh explicitly refused to obey God's command to let the Israelites go, he set in motion his own downfall. Pharaoh had the opportunity to consider the negotiation plan and consult his advisors about releasing the Israelites, but instead of reaching a mutually acceptable agreement, Pharaoh rejected the offer. By continuously postponing their release, he ultimately faced the tragic consequences of indecisiveness, rebelliousness, and hard-heartedness, culminating in the loss of his firstborn.
To ensure we make the right decisions and follow divine
instruction, divine guidance continues to be channeled through God's
chosen servants, enabling humanity to discern righteous paths and adhere to His
sovereign will and commandments. God's patience with Pharaoh is a testament to
the opportunities for right choices He still provides us with today. Do not put
off responding when God speaks; do not rebel or harden your heart; instead,
choose obedience, surrender your will, and embrace His blessings.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that we sometimes delay
decisions due to various challenges and forces. We recognize and adhere to your
supreme authority, O God, shutting out all other voices and fully submitting
our hearts to you. We take command over spirits of procrastination and
rebellion in the name of Jesus Christ, nullifying their power. May your
word, Almighty God, penetrate even the most resistant hearts, ensuring every
ear is open and every life is transformed by your matchless power. May your words
bring truth and clarity to those in the valley of decision. I am grateful, O
God, for your guidance, grace, and mercies. With a grateful heart, I give
thanks for your unwavering love, patience, tender mercies, grace, and kind
compassion in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Wishing you a fabulous day. 💕🙏
Amen
