Justified by His Blood
Good Morning
Scripture Reading: Romans 5
Worship Song: O The Blood
Meditation:
To be justified means to have a solid, just, and reasonable foundation. This is clearly demonstrated in the powerful narrative of Jesus Christ, who assumed the role of Savior and Mediator for sinners. Jesus's atonement on the cross was not random, but deliberate, justified, and essential to satisfy divine justice for sinners. His unconditional love and compassion led him to Calvary, where He willingly laid down his life to redeem and free us from bondage.
Before Christ, we were separated from God, living as enemies in
our sinful nature. Through Christ, we are reconciled. Sin and holiness do not
coexist; therefore, to enter the presence of a Holy God, we must undergo a
process of sanctification. Only through Jesus Christ can we be sanctified by
the renewing of our minds and the purification of our hearts. Jesus Christ died
for all sinners, but redemption and freedom from the punishment of sin come
only when we acknowledge and accept Him as our Lord and Saviour. The choice is
ours, so choose wisely.
Let us pray:
Everlasting Father, I seek you with confidence this morning
like the deer panting after the water brook. My soul thirsts for you, O God, in
this dry land. Fill me with your presence, O God, and let your fresh anointing
fall upon me now. Almighty God, I recognize that there is no place for
unholiness in your Kingdom. I leave all my flaws, weaknesses, immoralities,
iniquities, and sins at your altar. Purify, and sanctify me through your
precious blood. Break, O God, my self-will until I am fully submissive to you,
Lord. Set me free from strongholds and whatever controls my thoughts and heart.
Move swiftly in my midst, mighty God, and ignite my spirit with your holy fire
that cannot be quenched. Seal me, O God, with your stamp of approval and hide
me in your secret pavilion so the enemy cannot gain access to me in the mighty
name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.
Have a wonderful day. Stay safe. 💞🙌🙏
