Heartfelt Gratitude

Good morning

Scripture reading: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Worship song: Thank You Lord

Meditation:

Recognizing God's goodness in all circumstances empowers us to appreciate the seemingly insignificant things in life.  Very gingerly, the homeless man laid out his bedding at the side of the business place in the freezing cold. With just a thick blanket to lie on and another to cover up, he settled into his long pants and jacket, looking perfectly comfortable. A cold knot formed in my stomach at the thought of him lying in that 35-degree weather.

Before complaining about what you lack, appreciate what you have. Trade your complaints for gratitude, and appreciate your daily blessings for someone is wishing they had a fraction of what you have. Instead of murmuring and complaining, cultivate a mindset of gratitude, and express your appreciation through spiritual songs, praise, and adoration to the Lord. Reflect on the goodness of God, his faithfulness, grace, and the many blessings he bestowed upon you. Praise the Lord with a grateful heart, thanking Him for all things with true appreciation.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, I praise You for Your faithfulness. Please take away my tendency to complain and replace it with a heart of contentment. Help me to stop focusing on problems and start seeing Your divine work in my life. Teach us, O God, to count our blessings, not the problems we encounter. Almighty God, I choose to trust in Your divine guidance, giving thanks wholeheartedly for the roof over my head, the food on my table, and Your mercies that are renewed daily. Lord God, I sincerely appreciate your divine work in my life and the guidance of the Holy Spirit that leads me to make informed strategic decisions. Father, I offer unto you sacrifices of praise for your faithfulness and divine blessings in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wishing you abundant blessings. 👏💕🙏

  1. Let us give thanks with a grateful heart. When we are overwhelmed with every day fustration, let us pause and remember what is that one thing God has done that change our world and focus on it. Sometimes we behave as if God hath forgotten us but when we think of what He hath done for us we want to dance. Life is a slippery slope, sometimes we are up sometimes we are down but there is always a comeback. Let us wait on the Lord and be of good courage. Hold on. Change is coming. 🙏🙏💪💪
