The Afflicted and The Bereaved.

Good morning

 Day of prayer - On behalf of the afflicted and the bereaved.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Revelation 21:4

Let us pray:

    Merciful, wonderful Savior, blessed Redeemer and Friend, we acknowledge Your sovereignty and power. You, O Lord, have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for You, and nothing is impossible with You. With this confidence, I entrust our brothers and sisters in Christ, loved ones, and family members who are afflicted, as well as those experiencing deep sorrow to your divine help. God of all goodness, look upon the afflicted with mercy and grant them speedy recovery. 

    Strengthen the weak upon their bed of languishing. Have compassion on those who are ill, O God. Ease their pain, grant them hope, and guide the hands of those caring for them. Calm their fears and let them experience the healing power of Your love. We trust in the assurance, Almighty God, that You are close to the brokenhearted and will ultimately bring physical, spiritual, and emotional healing. Comfort the bereaved so they may find peace and strength through their grief. 

Bring to nothing every strategic assault orchestrated by the adversary meant to disrupt our peace, diminish our faith, and cause us harm. In the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen. (Child of the King).

Good morning Scripture reading: St. Luke 13:11-17 Worship song: My Shackles Are Broken   Meditation:      For eighteen long years, she was weighed down and bound by an unseen adversary, unable to lift her head or help herself. However, not all individuals possess the gift of patience. Farmers understand patience, understanding firsthand that a harvest cannot be rushed. They rely mostly on timely seasonal rains and divine favor, as they patiently wait for their crops to reach maturity for harvest.       After sowing the seed, the farmer must endure a period of quiet anticipation, a season of growth during which the crops develop to produce fruit.
