Mandate For The Mission

By

Good morning

 Scripture reading: Matthew 18:19-20

Worship song: Go

Meditation:

The mandate for mission is an authoritative command, a divine commission that is non-negotiable for believers to spread the gospel and make disciples. Those who are sent by God are commissioned to go forth and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things as commanded by God. Jesus told his followers to travel everywhere and share the good news with everyone, adding that faith and baptism bring salvation, while rejecting the message leads to condemnation (St. Mark 16:15-16).

We are commissioned to declare the glory of the Lord among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations, for great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised. Jonah was sent to proclaim the gospel to the people of Nineveh, a direct order to fulfill God's mission. One of our key missions is to spread God's love, point people to Him, and honor His name. The call to spread the Gospel is the responsibility of every believer. We are chosen and equipped for God's mission; therefore, let us not grow weary in well-doing, but persevere and be fervent in our service to God, portraying godly character.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, matchless in power and sovereignty, we thank you for your divine mandate given to us to go forth and make disciples of all nations. We acknowledge that you are in control, O God, that our lives belong to you, and so we avail ourselves to be used by you to fulfill your purpose. Open our spiritual eyes and ears, Lord, to clearly see the unique path You have set for us and to hear Your voice. Remove confusion and doubt, granting us the clarity to understand and walk in Your will for our lives and ministry. Break every chain that hinders our mission; remove powers blocking opportunities. Empower us with Your word, fill us with the Holy Spirit, and grant us wisdom, patience, perseverance, and courage as we seek to carry out the mission You have assigned unto us through Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wishing you a joyful day. 💕🙏🙏

The Lord qualifies the call therefore when one is called weather fisher men or whatever ones profession is. God qualifies the call with His anointing because that is power for service through the infilling of the Holy Spirit. All the secret thoughts and questions the Lord hears as we doubts but He is able. 🙏

Good morning Scripture reading: St. Luke 10:19 Worship song: Treadin On Lions   Meditation:      Jesus does not send us on missions without first equipping us. When Jesus appointed the seventy disciples, He did not send them empty-handed or alone. Before sending them on their mission, He organized them into groups of two, gave them specific instructions, and empowered them with divine authority. They did not rely on their own strength, intellect, or power, but on the divine authority of Jesus Christ, who had commissioned them.       Jesus's profound promise to the seventy remains true for us today. He promises that those who believe in Him shall do greater works through the power of the Holy Spirit (St. John 14:12). We have spiritual authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions, and over the power of the adversary; nothing shall by any means hurt us. Armed with God's authority, we will conquer the lion and its cubs, the adder, and the ...

Let Your Light Shine

Good morning Scripture Reading: St. Matthew 5:14-16 Worship Song: Light of the World   Meditation:      A peenie wallie, also known as a firefly or lightning bug, is a bioluminescent beetle found primarily in Jamaica. It emits a flashing yellow-green light to attract its prey. Visible only at night, these beetles move swiftly through the darkness and are often drawn to any glimmer of light. Although its light is only a tiny ray, it glows in the darkness and can be seen from a distance.       As Jesus proclaimed while on the mount, we are the light of the world, and our light should not be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then covers it; instead, it is placed on a stand so that it can illuminate the entire room. Jesus declares that He is the Light, and those who follow Him will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life (St. John 8:12). If we are in Christ, we represent His light; therefore, we must walk as children of light. ...

Call Upon The Lord

Good morning Scripture reading: Psalm 18:1-6 Worship song: Hear My Cry, Oh Lord   Meditation:      Whom do you call upon in times of trouble, and to whom do you express gratitude when you are victorious?       During a time of profound distress, fear, and adversity, David trusted God to rescue, deliver, protect, and preserve him from those who rose against him. He relied solely on God to deliver him from those who sought to destroy him. After being delivered from the hand of Saul and his enemies, David lifted his voice in a song of gratitude to the Lord. It is wise to bring our challenges to God first and turn to prayer before speaking with others. When the righteous cry out, the Lord hears them and delivers them from all their troubles.       Although David was afraid, he was not dismayed, for he trusted God to uphold him with His righteous right hand. He joyfully declared his intention to pray fervently and call upo...

The Broken Covenant

Good morning Scripture reading: Genesis 4:19-22 Worship song: Yield Not To Temptation   Meditation:      Lamech was the first person in the Bible to practice polygamy, marrying two wives, Adah and Zillah. His actions directly violated the divine order established by God, which calls for marriage between one man and one woman. His marriage opposed God's plan, as stated: "a man shall leave his father and his mother. He shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh" (Genesis 2:24). Lamech departed from the pattern of monogamy, disobeying God’s divine plan and marking the beginning of bigamy in human history.       While our laws and culture reject polygamy as unlawful and unacceptable, the practice remains a socially accepted tradition in several African countries. Although we may not practice polygamy, people continue to break their marriage covenants by having multiple partners while legally married. This practice violates God's...
