Agents of Change
Good morning
Scripture reading: 2 Corinthians 5:17-21
Hymn: I Need Thee
Meditation:
Pondering that provocative question about our eternal destiny caused me to think deeply about my own life's purpose and soul, as well as a deep concern for yours. As we go about our daily lives, we must be mindful of how we spend our time here on earth, fully aware that one day we will face divine judgment. We will be accountable for how we utilize the time given to us. We possess the freedom to choose, and our actions shape our future.
Knowing that the unrighteous and the ungodly will not inherit the Kingdom of God should strongly prompt us to examine our conscience and change our lifestyle so we are not left out of God's Kingdom. Change is inevitable; therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature. The old has passed, and the new has come. If we desire to spend eternity with Jesus Christ and dwell in His presence, we must be born again by accepting Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
We must
acknowledge and confess our sins, modify our behavior, and align our ways with
God's will and commandments. To be an agent of change means our lifestyle is
different, our minds are renewed, and we no longer conform to worldly patterns.
Let us pray:
Everlasting Father, I seek You in a dry and thirsty land. I will pursue You tirelessly until my soul is satisfied. There is no place I would rather be, O Lord, than to be safely secured under the wings of my Savior. Hold me, Mighty God, in Your loving hands, and do not let me wander away from You. Draw me nearer and keep me as the apple of Your eye, for I am committed to following the path that leads to eternal life. In this moment of reflection, examine my heart, O God; search my deepest thoughts, Lord, and reveal where my true devotions lie.
I surrender all my weaknesses to You, Lord,
and fully yield myself to Your will. Change what must be changed in me, uproot
what needs to be uprooted, bind what must be bound, and loose what must be
loosed. Purify me, mighty God, of anything that hinders me from living a life
that is acceptable in Your sight. Rescue the souls of my loved ones, family,
and friends from the path of destruction, and guard our hearts. As we surrender
to You, mighty God, deliver us from the eternal impending judgment and rescue
us from the state of endless woes. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our
Redeemer. Amen.
Wishing you a joyful day. 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks be to God
