But God

Image
Good morning Scripture reading: Titus 3:1-7 Worship song: Try A Little Kindness   Meditation:      We were once deeply immersed in evil and enslaved by our flesh, rejecting God's ways, but God, in His great love, intervened. Our salvation, sanctification, and redemption are entirely the result of His grace and mercy, not our own righteousness. This realization should dictate how we treat everyone still struggling in the world. We were once debased and deprived by sin but are now saved, redeemed, and sanctified by His grace.       If we profess to be holy and righteous without sin, the word reminds us that there is none righteous, no, not one, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, but those who received him are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Jesus Christ. Human goodness is fleeting and dependent; without divine grace, human hearts naturally incline toward sin, regardless of how righteous ...

Hope For The Sinner

Image
Good morning Scripture Reading: Ezekiel 18: 20-32 Worship Song: There Is Hope In The Lord   Meditation:      The Bible has many intriguing stories of how God transformed the lives of patriots who became mighty men for his glory and purpose. Moses tried to hide a murder by fleeing, yet God found him in the wilderness to deliver Israel. Saul, a brutal persecutor of Christians, was transformed into a servant of the gospel. Even David, a murderer and adulterer, was completely converted by God’s power into a man after His own heart. Time and again, God turns unlikely, flawed individuals into instruments of his purpose. As long as you encounter God, you will never remain the same.      Jehovah  God will turn your hardened heart into a soft, loving one and fill you with a fresh spirit. You are never too marred with sin that the Lord cannot use you. As long as the wicked turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all the statutes of...

Life After Salvation

Image
Good morning Scripture reading:  Ephesians 2 Worship song: Red Letters   Meditation:      Before salvation, all unredeemed individuals remained in spiritual darkness, constrained by habits and thoughts that oppose God’s purpose. We were outsiders to God’s promises, living without hope and disconnected from Him in the world. Upon accepting Christ, we receive the gift of salvation, signifying a new life, seen as the beginning of eternal life, which pertains to our spiritual well-being and our relationship with God. This new life is redemption from sin's dominion, reconciling humanity with God and ensuring eternal happiness.       Life after salvation brings about a profound spiritual transformation, wherein a believer's past, mistakes, and sinful nature are replaced by a new life guided by the Holy Spirit. This new life is obtained through repentance and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believing in your heart that ...

Overcome Temptation

Image
Good morning Scripture reading: St. Luke 4: 1-13 Worship song: God Of All My Days   Meditation:      Satan and his demonic forces were actively monitoring Jesus, gathering information to use as a weapon against Him. Recognizing the exhaustion of His flesh after forty days of fasting, and knowing that Jesus was at his weakest point, the enemy seized the opportunity to initiate intense temptation. Realizing his planned mission failed, Satan retreated temporarily to wait for a more favorable moment. The enemy plans to attack believers and try to interrupt God's plan for us. No child of God is exempt from temptation; and no temptation will overtake you except what is common to humans, however, God is faithful and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear.       Whenever you are tempted, God will also provide a way out so that you can endure it. Be vigilant against the enemy's strategies: demonic forces are deployed to monitor o...

Your Prayer Is Heard

Image
Good morning Scripture reading: St. Luke 1:5-16 Worship song: Holy Forever   Meditation:      Elizabeth and Zechariah faced the heavy burden of being childless in a society that regarded barrenness as a curse, despite being righteous in the eyes of the Lord.   Although their petition was not answered at the time they expected, they continued to serve God faithfully. Elizabeth and Zechariah had likely relinquished hope of having a child due to their advanced age and prolonged infertility. However, after years of persistent prayer, Zacharia's request was finally fulfilled when God blessed him with a uniquely anointed son in his old age. Gabriel not only announced to Zacharias that he would have a son, but also provided a prophetic description of the child's specialized character and destiny.       Like Zechariah, you may have prayed persistently until you gave up hope. Be encouraged; prolonged waiting does not imply that God has not h...

Positive Affirmation

Image
Good morning Scripture reading: Proverbs 18:21 Worship song: Guard My Tongue, O Lord   Meditation:      The well-known phrase "Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me," is a traditional defense mechanism intended to minimize emotional pain and help individuals disregard malicious words. However, this saying is far from the truth, as harsh words can affect relationships, bring trouble, and inflict emotional pain. Words possess the power to build up or to destroy; they can wound or heal; they can condemn or invoke blessings.       Words can be as destructive as a weapon or as healing as medicine. It is powerful enough to shape one's mindset, influence external conditions, and alter one’s life for better or worse through affirmations and declarations. Words are not merely descriptive but are a creative force that can bring things into existence. They function like seeds; whatever is sown will eventually be harv...

Unwavering Faith

Image
Good morning Scripture reading: St. Luke 7:1-10 Worship song: Stand In Faith   Meditation:      The account of the centurion serves as a testament to the fact that faith is not merely following a religious ritual or social status but recognizing and trusting that Jesus is the ultimate answer to any problem. Unwavering faith involves persistently believing in a positive outcome and in God's goodness, even when prayers are not immediately answered or when situations appear hopeless.       The centurion's unwavering faith in Jesus demonstrated his confidence in His divine power. He believed that his servant would be healed from a distance by a spoken divine command alone. Nothing is impossible with God; He specializes in doing what is considered impossible and can accomplish what no other god can Are there obstacles that seem unbeatable or mountains that appear unmovable? Faith in God changes how you see your situation, which ultimately cha...

Hope Thou in God

Good morning Scripture reading: Psalms 42 Worship song: Encourage Yourself   Meditation:      Confronted with overwhelming despair, the Psalmist paused to reflect on his emotional state, seeking to understand the root cause of his deep mental torment. He examined his circumstances and questioned why he was experiencing such intense spiritual and emotional distress. The psalmist advises himself by making a declaration to stop dwelling on his emotional feelings and instead trust in God, the source of inner peace, strength, joy, and hope.       The psalmist's call to hope in God serves as a powerful promise to remain steadfast and wait for God's strengthening presence during times of despair. It is natural for humans to experience distress, but we must not succumb to despair. We may be deeply troubled, but we need not be driven to hopelessness.       Apostle Paul explains in 2 Corinthians 4:8-10 that although believers f...
