Recognizing the exhaustion of His flesh after forty days of fasting, and knowing that Jesus was at his weakest point, the enemy seized the opportunity to initiate intense temptation. Realizing his planned mission failed, Satan retreated temporarily to wait for a more favorable moment. The enemy plans to attack believers and try to interrupt God's plan for us.
