Positive Affirmation
Good morning
Scripture reading: Proverbs 18:21
Worship song: Guard My Tongue, O Lord
Meditation:
The well-known phrase "Sticks and stones will break my bones but words will never hurt me," is a traditional defense mechanism intended to minimize emotional pain and help individuals disregard malicious words. However, this saying is far from the truth, as harsh words can affect relationships, bring trouble, and inflict emotional pain. Words possess the power to build up or to destroy; they can wound or heal; they can condemn or invoke blessings.
Words can be as destructive as a weapon or as healing as medicine.
It is powerful enough to shape one's mindset, influence external
conditions, and alter one’s life for better or worse through affirmations and
declarations. Words are not merely descriptive but are a creative force that
can bring things into existence. They function like seeds; whatever is sown
will eventually be harvested. Daily positive declarations build a harvest of
success, but negative utterances destroy your potential. Positive words can
foster confidence, while negative words can damage self-esteem. The words
spoken over your life can influence your emotions, mental, and spiritual
well-being. Choose your words carefully and avoid negative utterances because
spoken words are influential tools that define our experiences.
Let us pray:
Almighty God, clothed in splendor and majesty, matchless in
power, I praise you for you are worthy of all praise. Father, I acknowledge
that death and life reside in the power of the tongue; hence I declare life and
blessings over my family. By your power, Lord God, I nullify every harmful
declaration, evil decree, curse, and negative word uttered against my loved
ones and myself, rendering them powerless in the name of Jesus. I renounce
every evil covenant and declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper.
I affirm that the Most High God, supreme in power, has encircled us with a
hedge of protection that no enemy can penetrate. I declare prosperity,
extraordinary favor, abundant blessings, and excellent health. I declare, O
God, that we are above and not beneath, the head and not the tail. I decree and
declare that we shall not die but live to testify to your goodness, Lord. Set a
guard, O Lord, over our mouths, restrain our lips from evil speech and
deceitful words in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Wishing you a blessed day. 👏💕🙏
