Life After Salvation

Good morning

Scripture reading:  Ephesians 2

Worship song: Red Letters

Meditation:

Before salvation, all unredeemed individuals remained in spiritual darkness, constrained by habits and thoughts that oppose God’s purpose. We were outsiders to God’s promises, living without hope and disconnected from Him in the world. Upon accepting Christ, we receive the gift of salvation, signifying a new life, seen as the beginning of eternal life, which pertains to our spiritual well-being and our relationship with God. This new life is redemption from sin's dominion, reconciling humanity with God and ensuring eternal happiness.

Life after salvation brings about a profound spiritual transformation, wherein a believer's past, mistakes, and sinful nature are replaced by a new life guided by the Holy Spirit. This new life is obtained through repentance and confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believing in your heart that God raised Christ from the dead, resulting in salvation. One cannot fully grasp the true meaning of life without complete surrender to God. Life is more than earthly possessions; it centers on establishing a personal relationship with God, the creator, ensuring one's existence is meaningful through Christ.

Through Jesus Christ, we live, move, and sustain our being for He is the ultimate source, the giver of life, breath, and all essential provisions.

Let us pray:

Heavenly redeemer, we express our sincere gratitude for the gift of salvation and our reconciliation with God. Father, we thank you for sending Jesus Christ, who died for us while we were yet sinners. Almighty God, we acknowledge You as the only way, the truth, and the life and we affirm that redemption is possible only through confessing and accepting You as Lord. We thank You, Lord, for this new life. Thank You for freeing us from our past mistakes and leading us into a peaceful life through the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord God, we are grateful for your grace, which has liberated us from the stronghold of sin and made us entirely new in Christ. We thank you, Gracious God, for guiding us and giving us the courage to reject worldly standards and embrace a renewed life in Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wishing you a day filled with joy and gladness. 👏💞🙏
