Appointed For a Purpose
Good morning
Scripture reading: 2 Chronicles 20:18-22
Worship Song: Atmosphere Shift
Meditation:
The people of Judah, led by King Jehoshaphat, demonstrated their submission and reliance on God by responding to the threat of their enemy with a physical act of worship, instead of focusing on their fears. When they heard the prophetic word, they bowed their heads in reverence as they worshiped and praised God. Their praise was so powerful that a burst of jubilee erupted in the atmosphere as the selected singers echoed joyful sounds of victory and praise. My beloved friends, note what happened when the people of Judah began to sing and praise the Lord. God intervened, causing the enemy to turn against each other in a confused, self-destructive battle. This is a powerful reminder that we overcome by faith in God's power, not by fearing our enemies. Life can be challenging, but praising God makes all the difference.
If we are determined
to trust in God's promise to make our path straight, we will need to make an
unwavering sacrifice to surrender, trust, rely, allow, and depend on his divine
direction. Victory belongs to Jesus and is a part of his plan for every
believer. In everything we must rejoice, give thanks with a grateful heart, and
worship God in spirit and truth. If you are burdened by your challenges, shift
your focus from your worries to heartfelt praise and worship, and prepare to
witness the supernatural power of God.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, thank you for your revelation through your
prophetic word. Lord God, we acknowledge our need to return to the heart of
worship, falling before your throne in reverence, singing praise to you. Lord,
guide us back to the altar where genuine worship and self-sacrifice are offered
daily unto you. We pray for a fresh spiritual revival. Cleanse our hearts,
renew our mindset, and restore our broken relationship with you. We surrender
our desires, decisions, burdens, battles, and every aspect of our lives to you,
Lord. Remind us, O God, that we need not be paralyzed by fear, for though the
valley seems dark, you are with us, protecting and keeping us safe. We release
our own plans and anxieties to you, O God, and ask you to lead us on your
perfect path in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Wishing you a fantastic day. 💪💗🙏
