Good morning

Scripture reading: Colossians 3:12-17

Worship song: Still/Peace

Meditation:

Apostle Paul addressed the early church in Colossae, urging them to intentionally adorn themselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, and forgiveness. He emphasized that unconditional, selfless love is the supreme virtue that enhances and unites all other divine virtues.

In Galatians 5, these virtues are identified as the fruit of the Spirit, illustrating that a true follower of Christ has forsaken their former way of life. Paul also encourages believers to exercise patience with one another when confronting faults or provocations, and to forgive as readily as Christ forgave them.

Paul affirms that every action, conversation, and decision should reflect the character of Jesus, carried out with a heart of gratitude. Let us commit to integrating these divine virtues and intentionally demonstrate them in our daily lives.

Let us pray:

Everlasting Father, clothed in splendour and majesty, we adore You, as our Lord and King. Heavenly Father, we humbly seek Your divine light to guide our actions, speech, and judgments. Clothe us with Your righteousness and instill within us the peace that surpasses all understanding. Harden not our hearts, Lord, but soften them, filling us with compassion, love, kindness, patience, humility, and gentleness. We seek to intentionally bear the fruit of the Spirit and exhibit divine virtues, as evidence that we have forsaken our old nature and embraced Christ. Father, let Your divine calling direct our daily conduct and serve as a protective shield around our hearts. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wishing you a splendid day. 👐💕🙏
