Icing on The Cake
Good morning
Scripture reading: 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Praise song: Your Grace and Mercy
Meditation:
When a cake is covered with frosting, all you can see is the sculptor's intricate design, with precise shapes and patterns that create an appealing finish. Broken cakes are not discarded but covered to conceal the flaws beneath attractive frosting. This perfectly mirrors God's redeeming grace. His love acts as the icing on our lives, tenderly covering our brokenness and reshaping it into His radiant beauty until we are fully restored.
God's grace is sufficient to forgive and cleanse all sins, offering a
path to redemption and a new beginning. No matter the condition of our
heart, the grace of God who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Jesus
Christ will strengthen, establish, and make you perfect. The grace of God is
sufficient and his strength is made perfect in our weakness. Blessed beyond
measure is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
Let us pray:
Sovereign God, I am exceedingly grateful for Your boundless
grace that sustains us, Your mercies that are renewed each morning, for Your
unconditional love that enfolds us, the gift of salvation that redeems us, and Your strength that perfects our weakness.
Lord God, we are profoundly grateful for Your redeeming blood and for granting
us access into Your presence. Father, we joyfully grant You permission to
reshape and remodel us according to Your purpose. Our heart, mind, soul, and
body belong to You, so we willingly surrender to You; and trust Your divine
guidance for our well-being. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Wishing you a peaceful day. ✌💕🙏
