Present Your Bodies

Good morning

Scripture reading: Romans 12:1-3

Worship song: All To Jesus I Surrender

Meditation:

It is tempting to be drawn to the world's dazzling attractions which are designed to appeal to our natural desires. Rather than conforming to the glamorous patterns of this world, we are called to offer our lives as a living sacrifice. Through the continuous renewal of our minds, we resist worldly temptations and gain the spiritual strength to discern God's good and perfect will.

Apostle Paul urged believers to surrender total control of our lives to God including our actions, desires, time, and physical well-being, placing everything on the altar. Living a sanctified, set-apart, pure life that honors God requires a daily commitment. It goes beyond mere convenient service. It is a commitment that requires us to surrender our brokenness, hidden thoughts and actions, secret plans, ambitions, and comforts to Him. When we relinquish control to God, we embrace His divine guidance.

Let us pray:

Gracious Lord, with profound gratitude for Your limitless grace, mercy, and faithfulness, I dedicate my life to You as a living sacrifice. Lord, I surrender all that I am, every plan, everything I have held on to that was never meant to be retained, every dream constructed without Your guidance, every path I choose in solitude, I lay these at Your feet, this morning. Almighty God, I entrust to You every hidden aspect of myself I have sought to protect,  including every plan that I have been controlling, my ambitions, and comfort. I give them all to You, Lord, until nothing is remaining but You, Lord. All to You, I willingly surrender, O God, desiring to be filled with Your love and power. In the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wishing you a peaceful day. ✌💕🙏

  1. We often times believe our body belongs to us. How could I say my body is not mine. No, it belongs to the Lord and more so it is the temple of the Holy Spirit. It is with this understanding that we have to be the more careful what we do with it. We must wash it, dress it and keep it clean, not only physically but more so spiritually. 🙏
