Change The Rhythm
Good morning
Scripture Reading: Psalms 40:1-5
Worship song: God Is Good All the Time
Meditation:
What tune are you dancing to this morning? Maybe you are entertained by a song that is robbing you of your joy, and peace of mind. Perhaps it is robbing you of hope, happiness, and contentment, causing you to be angry, grumpy, miserable, depressed, bitter, and cold-hearted. This is the type of music we dance to outside of Christ. The life we live outside of Jesus Christ is the old records, playing to the tunes of hatred, grief, adultery, fornication, drunkenness, envy, strife, wrath, and idolatry. If that is the case with you, now is a good time to consider changing that soundtrack. Trade in those old records for new songs of praise and enjoy the rhythm of love, joy, peace, contentment, patience, and meekness.
We often select the wrong music and
dance to the rhythm of the blues, rocking with the devil, but we are reminded
to purposefully surrender our hearts to God, replacing the old, worldly rhythm
with the divine purpose he instilled in us at salvation. Almighty God has put a
song of praise in our hearts and every soundtrack recorded should reflect the
serenity of the Holy Spirit within us. Allow the Lord to put a new song of
praise in your heart which will bring you sweet solitude and a balm for your
soul. Tune your heart to a new melody by changing your ways and embrace
the harmony of God's peace and blessings.
Let us pray:
Everlasting Father, as I reflect on your goodness, your
grace, and your mercy, I give thanks that you have changed my soundtrack and
the tune that I once danced to. Almighty God, I glorify you for putting a song
of praise in our hearts. My heart overflows with gratitude to you, Lord God,
for the bitter sting of what was once entertained has been replaced by a
soundtrack of pure joy, happiness, peace, and contentment. Abba, Father, I give
thanks that through your divine intervention, recorded tracks have been
replaced, and our hearts are filled with songs of praise downloaded by the Holy
Spirit. Father, we thank you for filling our hearts with praise, and as we
dance to these new tunes, may you receive the glory you deserve in the name of
Jesus Christ. Amen. (Child of the King).
Wishing you a prosperous day. 💕🙏🙏
