Meditation:

    During a crisis that escalates out of control, your first response is to seek assistance. You may contact an emergency response service to dispatch trained professionals who can address and resolve situations beyond your effective management. However, not all situations result in a successful outcome, regardless of the alertness, education, promptness, commitment, and dedication of those involved. Some situations are simply beyond human control and require divine intervention. Nothing, regardless of how simple it appears, can be achieved without God's involvement. The most advanced medical care or protective force cannot guarantee your well-being or survival if God's intervention is absent. 

    Though the afflictions of the righteous are many, we must rely solely on God for deliverance from all difficulties. We wrestle against principalities and spiritual wickedness continually, yet it is only through God's power that we can overcome the enemies, surmount mountains, defeat giants, conquer sin, and triumph over evil. Only Jesus Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit and driven by compassion for sinners, can deliver, save, and set us free. It requires the grace and love of God to protect us from the rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness. 

    When tempted or confronted with spiritual or physical challenge, remember to seek divine help through prayer, supplication, and thanksgiving, making your requests known to God. Help is always available.

Let us pray:

    Everlasting God, my rock, fortress, and deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I trust; my shield, strong tower, and the horn of my salvation, I humbly come before You, mighty God; hear my cry, O Lord, and attend to my prayer. Father, we depend entirely on You for guidance and strength, as we possess no power of our own. Direct our hearts and keep us steadfast in times of crisis. Shelter us under Your mighty wings and protect us from harm and danger. I beseech You, Lord, to cover us as You did in our mother's womb. Grant us the endurance to withstand the rulers of darkness, wickedness in high places, and victory over principalities and evil forces. Father, enable us to run through the troops of the enemy without fear or hesitation. Father, by Your power, empower us to defeat giants and overcome spiritual and physical attacks. Deliver us hastily, O God, from the plot and scheme of the enemy for Your glory. In the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Good morning Scripture: Hosea 2:1-13 Praise song: Kill My Flesh   Meditation:      The prophecy of Hosea serves as a plea to the Israelites to turn away from their unfaithfulness and to return to God. Their sinful and lustful lifestyle has caused a separation between them and God. Good morning Scripture reading: Ephesians 2:13-22 Worship song: Gracefully Broken   Meditation:      Historical records indicate that China's emperors began constructing the Great Wall between the 7th and 8th centuries B.C., a project over a period of more than 1,000 years. The Great Wall emerged as the most recognized symbol of China, erected when the Warring States built defensive walls to prevent incursions and invaders with the intent that it would ward off enemies from the north and protect their territory.       Similarly, in our lives, we often erect defensive walls intended to keep intruders and invaders at bay.
