Meditation:

    The well-known account of Joseph in the book of Genesis (chapters 37-50) provides a summary of his destiny and divine intervention on his behalf. Joseph's brothers conspired to eliminate him; however, God had a greater plan. They intended to remove him from the position of leadership that he declared he would one day hold. Their motives were malicious; in fact, they harbored evil intent. What they didn't know was that God would one day turn their evil scheme into blessings for their benefit. The very evil the brothers conceived to harm Joseph was the means through which God used to promote him to his destiny. 

    Joseph advanced from the position of imprisonment to serve as the governor of Egypt. He was given the authority to manage and oversee the affairs of the King of Egypt. As ordained by God's providence, during the famine, Joseph was able to provide his father and siblings with enough food to sustain them and satisfy their needs. God turns human harm into blessings, changing evil plans into a greater good.

Let us pray:

    Sovereign God, Father to the helpless, Father to the faithful, I worship you in spirit and truth. Almighty God, we seek coverage under your wings, O God. We look to you, O God, for divine protection from those who seek to destroy our lives by their evil plots and schemes. Father, for those whose lives are affected by the evil plan of others, may they prevail and triumph victoriously by Your matchless power. Father, may we claim victory in every situation that we face, knowing that Your purpose will be fulfilled in us and no weapon formed against us shall prosper. May we, like Joseph, declare that what our enemies meant for evil You have made good, beneficial even to our haters in due time. Father, while the evildoers indulge in their evil plots, may their actions result in defeat. Father, I pray that every battle against us will be won and the devil's plan will be overridden. By the blood of Jesus Christ, may we prevail over every plot and scheme of our enemies, and your name be glorified in Jesus' precious name. Amen.

Good morning Scripture: Hosea 2:1-13 Praise song: Kill My Flesh   Meditation:      The prophecy of Hosea serves as a plea to the Israelites to turn away from their unfaithfulness and to return to God. Their sinful and lustful lifestyle has caused a separation between them and God.
