God Favored Me

Good morning

Day of Testimony- God Favored Me

will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee. Psalms 22:22

Worship song: I Will Say of The Lord

My Testimony:

Although I accepted Jesus Christ in my teenage years, I did not know what it meant to genuinely serve Him. I broke my covenant with Christ, but after several years of wandering through the wilderness, I came to realize that my life is meaningless without Him. Now I am walking in newness of life with Christ as my anchor and my rock. I draw strength from the divine assurance that I am never alone, even amidst the toughest struggles.

When I remember the price Christ paid for my redemption, and when I remember that the broad road leads to destruction, I must fight the good fight of faith, hold firm to God's promise of eternal life, whereunto I am called, and have publicly professed before many witnesses. Looking back, makes me appreciate the grace and mercy of God. If it were not for His grace, I would be lost. I am reminded of Christ's divine mission in St. John 6 that because I trust Jesus with my life, believe His word, and recognize that he is the Messiah, I will be granted everlasting life. Jesus is the reason why I am set free.

I have lost some things I hold dear, but thank God, I didn't lose my faith and my praise. My life has been marked by many trials and tribulations, but through it all, I continue to feel the enduring, measureless peace of God which surpasses all understanding. When you encounter Jesus Christ, it brings new meaning to your life.

Let us pray:

Lord, I have wasted many precious years that I cannot regain, but I take comfort in your unwavering patience. I am profoundly grateful, Lord God for your enduring grace and for never abandoning this imperfect vessel. I praise you, Lord Jesus, for your steadfast love and the redemptive power that continually reshapes my life. Father, keep me anchored that I may never stray from your presence. I am truly grateful, Lord God, that your grace never asked for perfection so whenever I falter, dear Lord, remind me that your grace and mercy are available. Thank you, heavenly Father, for rescuing me from the mire and firmly planting my feet on the steadfast rock, secure in Jesus Christ forever. Amen.

Wishing you a joyful day. 👏💕🙏

  1. Your testimony is impacting. As I read the more I want to read. I know you are a vessel to be used and is still being used by God. Your fight will only be intensified because you mean Christ and declare such. In my experience I face a lot of things, God is really a keeper, many times it feels like I wouldn't make it but He kept me. God chose us because of our imperfections. This is why He is molding us into vessels of His choice, so the pain, frustrations we feel are as a result of His carving tools. Our work in progress will be admired by all. God can fix us. Shalom. 🙏💪
