Can't Give Up Now

Good morning

Scripture reading: Hebrews 11:1-6

Worship song: We Come This Far By faith

Meditation:

When we encounter difficulties, our first instinct is to give up, but how can we turn back now that we have come this far by faith? We were never told that the road to salvation would be easy. We were never told that there wouldn't be obstacles in our path. We were never told that we would not be tempted and tried. We were never told that we would not face tribulations, but we were told that nothing would be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord. Once you become a child of God, be prepared to face persecution and tribulations. Be prepared, for the enemy will launch his fiery darts at you. He will try to defeat your purpose, but fear not, nor be dismayed; the Lord will strengthen you and help you to overcome all your challenges. He that is with you is more than anything that you will encounter. Be strong and of good courage, for the Lord says he will be with you wherever you go. Press on and do not forfeit the race, for there is a victory to be won. Look back at where God has brought you from, and you will realize that you have come thus far by faith, leaning on the everlasting arms of the Almighty God. Do not let down your guard; connect to the main source; feed your spirit with the word of God; and press towards the higher calling. The closer you get to the Savior, your tribulations will intensify, but with good courage, you will overcome them all.

 Let us pray:

Father, though I have come this far by faith, the pressures of life sometimes become hard to bear, but God, I trust you to carry me through the storms. Father, I have come this far, and I cannot turn back now, and therefore, Lord, I beseech you to strengthen me when I become too weak and frail in the face of adversity. Father, when trials and tribulations come my way, I will lean on your everlasting arms for sure, for courage, patience, and endurance, so prepare me to endure them until I finish the race. Almighty God, I seek to draw from the fountain that never shall run dry, so anchor my soul, O God, as I traverse through the troubles of life. Mighty God, keep me steadfast and sure while the bells roll; keep me connected to the source as I hold to your unchanging hands in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.

Have a peaceful day. Keep safe. 💕🙏
