Stand Your Ground

Scripture reading: Ephesians 6:10-18

Meditation:

    Those who choose to follow Jesus Christ will always encounter opposition. A believer will never be free from the attacks of the enemy. As long as we choose to follow Jesus Christ, the devil will target us. Nevertheless, the good news is that through Jesus Christ, we can stand against the enemy's schemes. Don’t become fearful, don’t cower, and don’t give in when the devil attacks. Jesus offers us hope and courage, assuring us we can find peace and strength in Him who overcomes the world. 

    The devil will always try to keep us in a place of fear. He knows that God has great things in store for all believers so he will do everything in his power to stop the process. If he can get our minds off of those good things and cause you to focus on the bad that’s going on around you, then he can strike fear in your heart. Fear will cause you to doubt God’s Word and His ability to keep His promises. Once the devil gets you over in the arena of fear, it’s all over. Don’t let that happen. 

    Instead of allowing the devil to get a grip on you, stand your ground, knowing who you are in Christ Jesus and that God is always on your side. Follow the advice of Apostle Paul: “Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that he may be able to withstand the devil's devices.”

Let us pray:

    Heavenly Father, thank you for being the anchor that keeps our soul steadfast and sure while the billows roll. Jehovah God, when we become fearful, when the enemy comes in like a flood, remind us you have power over the adversary. With your divine direction, we will triumph victoriously over every trial. Abba, Father, bind the stronghold of the spirit of fear and place it under your subjection. Defeat every ungodly spirit that bombards our lives and conquer its power. Lift up a standard against the enemy's plot and abort his mission. Almighty God, take the stage and have your way as we surrender all at the altar of sacrifice in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer and Savior. Amen.

    We should all stand for something or else we will fall for everything. There is something worth standing for that have eternal benefits. We can all achieve this together. Let us fight for it. Blessings. 🙏🙏💪

Good morning Scripture reading: Romans 8:31-39 Worship song: If God Is for Me   Meditation:      With God on your side, no enemy can truly triumph over you, even when it seems they are succeeding during persecution or tribulation. It may look like they are succeeding when they mock us or threaten us, but God's purpose and support for us are far greater than any force against us. Good morning Scripture reading: Ezekiel 14:1-8 Worship song: At Your Feet   Meditation:      The Lord rescued the Israelites from Egypt and took them away from their lifestyle of bondage in slavery and their customary worship of idols. The Israelites encountered the love of God and were granted freedom through his divine power. Good morning Scripture reading: Numbers 34:1-13 Worship Song: Way Maker   Meditation:      God made a covenant with Abraham in which he promised he would multiply his seed and make of him a great nation. God promised to bless him and his generation and give them the land of Canaan. The land was already occupied by various inhabitants, but God had to evict them so that Abraham and his descendants could possess the land. Our thoughts and hearts are vulnerable to the controlling influence of Satan's forces, who act as spiritual squatters.       To remove these spiritual intruders, we must invite Jesus Christ to take possession of our inner lives.
