Prayer - Confession and Repentance

And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing: Leviticus 5:5

Let us pray:

    Almighty God, we, Your children, stand accused before You and confess to the charges that are laid against us. Almighty God, we acknowledge that we have sinned against You by committing iniquities and have rebelled against You by departing from Your laws, commands, and precepts. Father, we confess that we have used our tongue to curse instead of bless others; we choose to hate instead of love. Almighty God, we confess the shedding of blood, the love for money over people's lives, and the disregard for Your creation. 

    Lord, we confess that our lifestyle choices are unholy and ungodly. Father, we confess that we seek worldly pleasures and earthly gain instead of seeking You, O God. Most Holy and merciful Father, we confess our wicked thoughts, our evil deeds, and our transgressions. We repent, O God, of the unconfessed sins of our ancestors, the sinful deeds they have committed, and for their trespasses against You, mighty God. Lord, we confess that we have erected ungodly altars, sacrificed to baal gods, and welcomed foreign gods into our houses, schools, workplaces, and sanctuaries. Father, we confess that we have walked contrary to Your will. 

    Lord, we confess that we fail to testify of Your goodness and have failed to honor, glorify, trust, and depend on You to lead and guide us. Judge of the secrets of the heart, we surrender and humbly repent of our carnal and deceptive behavior. We repent, O God, of our shortcomings and failures. We are sorry for our wantonness and our ungodliness, and humbly beseech You to forgive us, Almighty God, and set us free from a past we cannot change. Father, purify our hearts as we seek to mend our ways. Lead us, O Lord, where change is possible, and restoration is granted by grace through Jesus Christ, our advocate. Amen. (Child of the King).

Good morning   Day for Testimony - A Mental Reset   Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Philippians 1:6   Worship song: I'm Not Sorry Testimony:      I once dedicated my energy and time trying to fit in, please everyone, mend what is broken, and maintain tranquility. This pursuit nearly broke me. Then, what I accepted and believed I needed and could not live without was suddenly taken away from me like a gust of wind, uprooting everything in its path. All I had built my life upon crumbled unexpectedly. This realization underscores that only what is divine endures forever.
