It Flows For Me

Good morning

Scripture reading: Hebrews 9

Worship song: Unworthy of the Blood

Meditation:

Throughout biblical history, the shedding of blood has been directly connected to atonement, emphasizing the severe consequences of sin and the costly price of redemption. Unlike the old covenant, which required continuous blood sacrifices to temporarily cover sin, the New Covenant offered a one-time sacrificial offering through the blood of Jesus, providing a permanent cleansing that removes the stain of sin and maintains ongoing purity. Both the old and new covenants emphasize that sin causes separation and requires a sacrifice of life to restore fellowship with God.

Jesus' declaration in Matthew 26:28 clearly affirms that His death establishes a new promise, replacing the old rituals with a complete forgiveness that washes away the sins of all who believe. We are redeemed not with corruptible things, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish or spot. Through his blood, Jesus purchased our freedom and forgave our sins, demonstrating the vast riches of his grace. By accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior, we are declared righteous and delivered from Satan's domain and the penalty of sin.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, with a grateful heart, I worship you for your sacrificial offering that redeems mankind from the penalty and dominion power of Satan. Wholeheartedly, we thank you, Lord God, for your amazing grace, unconditional love, and tender mercies. Lord, we thank you for paying the ultimate ransom to redeem us from the bondage of sin and granting us bold access to the throne of grace. Almighty God, we acknowledge our transgressions, our brokenness, pride, and self-centered pursuits. We surrender them all to you, O God, seeking forgiveness and spiritual cleansing. Our sinful nature deems us unworthy but your sacrificial offering grants us undeserved grace and for that we are extremely grateful. We thank you, Lord God, for your gift of salvation that is not earned, but freely granted to those who surrender to you through Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen.

Wishing you a joyful day. Einéné ✌💕🙏
