Obeying God's command, in preparation for the conquest, and to make informed strategic decisions, Moses sent agents to assess the strength of the inhabitants and the fertility of the land of Canaan.       Moses disregarded the convincing popular report of the majority and accepted the report of the faithful minority, choosing to trust God's promises over human fear. Trusting in God's sovereignty, Mordecai prayed and fasted, allowing the Lord to deliver justice and repay Haman for his wicked plots. In a stunning twist of fate, Haman was summoned by King Ahasuerus to personally lead a parade for Mordecai, shouting out the very praises he had planned for himself.
