The Eviction Notice

 Meditation:

    As we know, a tenant who violates a lease agreement or is delinquent with payment faces consequences that range from warnings to eviction. While eviction can have both positive and negative implications depending on one's perspective, it is important to take every precautionary measure necessary to adhere to the agreement. When it comes to our spiritual well-being, we must recognize the similar principles that apply to the unauthorized residents we allow in our hearts. 

    For too long, our hearts have been held hostage by unholy guests, residing where only the Holy Spirit should abide. We must stand firm on God's principles and take immediate action to evict from our lives the works of the flesh. We must execute the judgment of peace and truth in our gates and purge our hearts of all forms of bitterness, hatred, unforgiveness, jealousy, and ungodly deeds. Forgiveness liberates you from the burden of past hurt and emotional baggage. 

    Make a decision to let go of the resentment and anger directed at those who have wronged you, regardless of whether they apologize. Let us exempt from our lives the things that God despises. Forgive and experience God's divine peace. May we embrace the transformative power of Christ’s teachings and allow His light to shape our daily actions.

Let us pray:

    Merciful Savior, blessed redeemer and friend, we approach your mercy seat with a heart of confession and humility to worship and honor your holy name, for you are worthy to be praised. Lord God, without delay, we boldly serve an eviction notice to every ungodly thought and desire that has taken up residence within us. Break the chains that bind us, dismantle satanic strongholds, and liberate our minds from the burden of ungodliness. Lord, we declare freedom from negative influences and wicked imagination. Purify our hearts, and cleanse our minds, Lord, from all that you detest and from anything that renders us spiritually or physically unclean. Sanctify our lips, O God, and cleanse us from every contamination of sin in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Good morning Scripture reading: Exodus 18:5-12 Worship song: I'll Say of The Lord   Meditation:      Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, along with Moses' wife and two sons, traveled to the Israelites' camp, where Moses was stationed near the mount of God. After a heartfelt greeting with Jethro, Moses confidently shared with great assurance how the Lord had miraculously delivered the Israelites from Pharaoh's oppression, emphasizing his unwavering faithfulness as he sustained them throughout the wilderness. Good morning Scripture reading: Proverbs 24:16-19 Worship song: I Will Boast In Christ   Meditation:      We often celebrate the downfall of our enemies in ignorance, but true wisdom advises us against taking satisfaction in the suffering or failure of our enemies. We are called to serve and pray, fulfilling God's will by loving our enemies rather than condemning them or gloating when they stumble. Instead of feeling excited when our enemies stumble, we must sincerely pray for them.       Whatever persecution we encounter at the hands of our enemies, the ultimate response is to earnestly pray. Do not condemn others; leave all vengeance to God. As you ponder these profound words, ask yourself this provocative question: What do you do or say when your enemy stumbles? When we allow ourselves to be persuaded by flattery, praise, and compliments, we risk letting our lives be fashioned by others' opinions instead of our convictions. We must remember that Satan is a master of manipulation, seeking to invade and control our thoughts to influence our actions.
