Giving Thanks and Praises

Week of prayer - Day 7

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise be thankful unto him and bless his name. Psalm 100:4

Let us pray:

    Yeshua, our dependable God, I exalt you, O King, for you are our covenant-keeping God, our Sustainer, defender, shield, and fortress. I will praise you with thanksgiving; with a song of adoration, I will magnify you with gratitude. I give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come. Lord God, I give thanks for your blood coverage, for sealing us with your blood and giving us added protection, shielding us from the snare of the Fowler. Almighty God, I am grateful for the covenant relationship you have established with humanity through your son, Jesus Christ. 

    I am grateful for your laws written upon our hearts and for dismantling the barriers that separate us from you. I thank you, Lord, for equipping us with the spirit of power, love, and sound mind. Thank you for demolishing the works of darkness that threaten our destiny and for rebuking the forces trying to delay our progress. Thank you for our season of advancement and for destroying every diabolical spirit that seeks to prevent us from pursuing your divine plan. 

    Thank you, Lord God, for your financial blessings, emotional, spiritual, and physical healing, strengthening our faith, and restoring hope. Almighty God, thank you for preparing a table for us to dine, for breaking generational curses, for crippling and paralyzing the dominion power, and for destroying every satanic agent assigned to destroy and derail our destiny. 

    With a joyful heart, I thank you, Lord, for transforming lives, destroying strongholds, and showering us with unmerited favors. I will continue to offer a sacrifice of praises unto you, O God, who grants us victory through our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Nowhere to Run, Nowhere to Hide

Good morning Scripture reading: Psalms 139 Worship song: Where Can I Go   Meditation:      Overwhelmed with emotion, the Psalmist reflects on God's incredible, infinite power and omnipresence, marveling that God is intimately acquainted with every detail of his life, even his most hidden thoughts and feelings. God's wisdom and knowledge are unattainable; none has the power to obtain them. While we can earn academic titles, and be blessed with the spirit of discernment, we can never earn the boundless wisdom and knowledge that belong only to God. The Psalmist acknowledged that God's power is beyond human understanding. Good morning Scripture reading: Ezekiel 14:1-8 Worship song: At Your Feet   Meditation:      The Lord rescued the Israelites from Egypt and took them away from their lifestyle of bondage in slavery and their customary worship of idols. The Israelites encountered the love of God and were granted freedom through his divine power. Nonetheless, they regularly transgressed against the Lord and returned to idolatry, and for that, many of them did not reach the promised land. Like the Israelites, many of us, after encountering freedom, have returned to our former lifestyle, allowing our self-will and desires to cause us to be entangled again in the yoke of sin and transgressions.       Those who believe in Christ experience a spiritual rebirth, a transformation from their old lifestyle governed by sin to a new spiritual identity in Christ. Squatters Occupying the Land

Good morning Scripture reading: Numbers 34:1-13 Worship Song: Way Maker   Meditation:      God made a covenant with Abraham in which he promised he would multiply his seed and make of him a great nation. God promised to bless him and his generation and give them the land of Canaan. The land was already occupied by various inhabitants, but God had to evict them so that Abraham and his descendants could possess the land. Our thoughts and hearts are vulnerable to the controlling influence of Satan's forces, who act as spiritual squatters.       To remove these spiritual intruders, we must invite Jesus Christ to take possession of our inner lives. Satan and his cohorts will remain inhabitants until we actively invite Jesus Christ into our lives to forcibly evict these unwanted spiritual tenants.
