Falsely Accused

Good morning

Scripture reading: Jeremiah 26

Worship song: In the Valley

Meditation:

Jeremiah was divinely chosen by God to prophesy and warn the people of Jerusalem about the imminent destruction of their city due to their disobedience and idolatry. Known as the weeping prophet, Jeremiah faced numerous challenges and difficulties, including imprisonment, but he remained faithful and resilient. He was accused by the priests and prophets of being a false prophet and accused of committing treason for his warning about the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple. Enraged by Jeremiah's prophecy, the people, along with the priests and prophets, conspired against him, seeking the princes' permission to kill him.

However, God was with Jeremiah, providing protection and shielding him so that his spirit and testimony were not shattered. When you encounter adversity and you feel tempted to abort your mission, remember that the God of Jeremiah is your God. His promises and presence sustained Jeremiah, giving him the strength to stand firm against his adversaries, and He will do the same for you. Whatever your task, do not be intimidated by those who oppose you; the Lord is mightier than them all.

Let us pray:

Most righteous God, our High Priest, we exalt and adore you, for you are worthy to be praised. Almighty God, like a rushing wind, breathe within our hearts and pour out fresh anointing upon us. Lord, let a double portion of your anointing fall upon your prophets, ordained ministers, pastors, priests, servants, and caretakers. Empower these chosen vessels, O God, to deliver your prophecies and spoken words with boldness and authority without fear or favoritism. Release uncommon favor upon them, prosper them, and keep them in perfect health. Cramp and neutralize every plan of the enemy; destroy every evil altar that is erected to defeat their purpose. Disrupt every evil scheme against their destinies, their children, and their endeavors in the mighty name of Jesus. We look to you, O God, from whence our help comes, and we ask you to keep us rooted and grounded in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Have a blessed day. 💗🙏
