God's Purpose in Your Pain
Good morning
Scripture reading: 2 Cor. 1:1-8
Worship song: God is Good
Meditation:
Pain is an undeniable experience we all face, whether physical, spiritual, mental, or emotional discomfort. The story of Job, in the Book of Job, exemplifies a righteous and god-fearing individual who endured immense and seemingly undeserved suffering, yet he remained steadfast and faithful to God. If you are battling with the pain of betrayal, the weight of trauma, prolonged illness, or you are struggling with doubt and fear, know that you are not alone.
If you are wrestling with job-related issues, challenging
life choices, financial hurdles, or unresolved issues, do not be discouraged.
The God of mercy specializes in comforting the broken, supplying the needs of
the needy, and rescuing the helpless. While we may not always discern the
reason behind our pain, we can absolutely trust that God has a purpose in it.
When we feel battered and bruised, we can find comfort in the God of all
comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulations. Wrestling with intense pain
should drive us to the altar of thanksgiving for our breakthrough and
deliverance are found only in Jesus Christ.
Let us pray:
Jehovah God, I am grateful that your arms are open wide,
ready to comfort those who mourn, those who are broken, wounded, and afflicted.
Mighty God, we may not understand the purpose or reason behind our pain, but
may we find joy amidst our struggles. Mighty God, restorer of the
brokenhearted, I give thanks for your unconditional love, abundant grace, and
mercies. Lord, we count it all joy, knowing that when trials come, we can
persevere and overcome every test. We give thanks, O God, for grace and mercy.
Mighty God, we worship you through our struggles, trusting you to deliver us
from trials and tribulations. Heal our broken hearts, O God, and grant us
endurance while we wait upon you to deliver us from the struggles of relentless
pain. Draw us closer to you, Almighty God, and help us to ride out our storms
through Jesus Christ, the most Holy One. Amen.
Have a prosperous day. 💓🙏
