The Eviction Notice

Meditation:

    As we know, a tenant who violates a lease agreement or is delinquent with payment faces consequences that range from warnings to eviction. While eviction can have both positive and negative implications depending on one's perspective, it is important to take every precautionary measure necessary to adhere to the agreement. 

    When it comes to our spiritual well-being, we must recognize the similar principles that apply to the unauthorized residents we allow in our hearts. We must stand firm on God's principles and take immediate action to evict from our lives the works of the flesh. We must execute the judgment of peace and truth in our gates and evict from our hearts all forms of envy, bitterness, hatred, unforgiveness, anger, jealousy, and any ungodly deeds. 

    Let us exempt from our lives the things that God despises. Forgiving others and releasing our grudges are powerful actions that can transform our mindset. Make a decision to let go of the resentment and anger directed at those who have wronged you, regardless of whether they apologize. Free your spirit from the burdens of past hurt and those you have held captive in your heart. Unforgiveness is a heavy burden to bear. Forgive and experience God's divine peace. It is time we evict the devil and everything associated with him. There is no room for him alongside Christ in our hearts.

Let us pray:

    Merciful Savior blessed redeemer and friend, we come with a penitent heart to worship and exalt your holy name, for you are worthy to be praised. Lord God, without delay, we boldly serve an eviction notice to everything that does not align with your will within our hearts. Break the chains that bind us, dismantle satanic strongholds, and liberate our minds from the burden of sin. Lord, we declare freedom from negative influences and wicked imagination. Purify our hearts, Lord, from all that you detest and from anything that renders us spiritually or physically unclean. Sanctify our lips, O God, and cleanse us from every contamination of sin in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
