God Does Not Change
Good morning
Scripture reading: Hebrews 1:10-12
Hymn: Great Is Thy Faithfulness
Meditation:
Over the years we have seen vast changes as men continue to create and implement new technologies. Modern technologies have drastically changed the way we interact, communicate, and access and transfer information. Moreover, over time, we also experience physical, mental, moral, and spiritual changes. We have also experienced changes in culture, health, relationships, people, and the products we use.
While the world around us is constantly
changing, we can find comfort in the stability that comes from serving the
unchanging and immutable. God does not decrease nor increase in power because
all power belongs to Him. He is the same yesterday, today, and will be forever.
His character and promises are timeless and reliable, offering a stable
foundation in a changing world. He is permanent, enduring, and everlasting.
When everything around us changes, God will never change because He is the
creator and Lord over all things.
Let us pray:
Everlasting Father, creator of Heaven and Earth, we honor
and glorify you, O God, for you are a God immutable and unchanging. You do not
advance nor decrease in power. You, O God, are the same yesterday, today, and
will be forevermore. Almighty God, we honor and glorify you because you stand
alone without equal or comparison. I pray, Mighty God, that we will not be
caught up or distracted by these modern changes and new technologies, so that
we fail to spend time in your word or to develop a closer relationship with
you, our Lord. I pray, Almighty God, that we will remain focused,
purpose-driven, and spiritually inclined to live by your commands. Shepherd us,
O Lord, as we desire to live under the protection and divine direction of the
unchangeable Most High God. Father, we are grateful that your communication
line is always available and we can reach you anytime through prayer and
supplication in the name that is above every other name, Jesus Christ our
Redeemer. Amen.
Have a blessed day. Shalom. ✌💞🙏
