The conclusion
Good morning
Praise song: Wonderful, Merciful Savior
Meditation:
After enduring a severe seven-year ordeal that humbled his immense pride, King Nebuchadnezzar reached the final conclusion that the God of heaven is supreme. He publicly declares to all nations of God's power and justice, acknowledging that the Most High sovereignly rules over human kingdoms. He was numbered among the greatest and proudest of men, yet God humbled him to a point where he recognized and acknowledged God as the true king.
Nebuchadnezzar thought it good to show the signs and wonders that the Most High God had wrought towards him. He said, "How great are his signs and how mighty are his wonders! His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation." Nebuchadnezzar praised, honored, and applauded the King of Heaven for His everlasting dominion. He ascertains that the works of the King of Heaven are the truth, and those who walk in pride, He will abase.
What is your final conclusion? Are you able to say, like
Nebuchadnezzar, that God's signs are great and powerful? The God of Heaven is
truly the only wise God, and the King of all kings. His dominion power is
everlasting.
Let us pray:
Sovereign God, Creator of heaven and earth, I extol and honor
you as my King. Yeshua, clothed in splendor and majesty, from generation to
generation, you are Mighty, I crown you, as Lord. Holy Father, I give You
authority to destroy every, work, thought, or influence warring against You
within me. I break agreement with all works of the flesh that are contrary to
the Spirit, and ask for the fire of the Holy Ghost to consume them. Father, if
I am exalting myself in your presence, if I am too high and mighty, please
humble me and bring me to the level you want me to be. Nullify the spirit of
pride, self-righteousness, and self-reliance, Lord God, and help me to trust
and rely on you. Father, deliver me from my ignorant state and teach me to
trust you completely, leaning not on my own, but on your perfect wisdom.
Jehovah God, do not consume me in your wrath, nor let the works of the flesh
control me. Take my life and let it be consecrated, Lord, to thee, in the
all-powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
