Faith Makes a Difference

Good morning

Scripture reading: St. Luke 8:41-55

Worship song: Keep the Faith

Meditation:

God's power, applied through one's strength, leads to restoration no matter the challenge you are experiencing, whether physical or spiritual. Faith without works is dead, and without faith, it is impossible to please God. Whoever approaches God must believe in his existence, his work, and his power, believe that all things are possible, and believe that he rewards those who diligently seek him.

Many can relate to the story of the woman with the 12-year condition who spends all her resources without relief. The determination of the woman to seek healing led her to where Jesus was ministering. Unlike Jairus, the ruler of the synagogue who was waiting until Jesus finished his mission to come to his house, the woman sought immediate healing. By expressing her resilient faith and determination, she pushed through the crowd and touched the hem of Jesus' garment. Immediately after the exercise, her faith in the healing virtue released from Jesus dried up her infirmity, and she was made whole.

Jesus is still working miracles. No matter your condition, whether physical or spiritual, his virtue still flows. The Lord says, I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds (Jeremiah 30:17).

Let us pray:

Merciful Savior, blessed redeemer, and friend, you are the one that I praise and adore. Take the glory, Lord God, for you are great, and your name is to be praised. Almighty God, there is no other help we look to but you this morning because you are our great Physician, our balm in Gilead, and our healer. I petition your throne, O God, for the various types of conditions that we, your people, are struggling to endure. Many of us, O God, are living with some conditions that only you can rectify. Many of us, O God, accept negative words spoken over us, believing that our condition is permanent, but in the name of Jesus Christ, I destroy that lie and burn it by the fire of the Holy Spirit. Lord, you say there is nothing impossible with you, so I speak and declare breakthrough and deliverance from every diabolical spirit that seeks to prevent us from pursuing your divine plan. Destroy every spirit by the fire of the Holy Spirit that is assigned to disrupt our lives with infirmity, spiritual, physical, and mental affliction, poverty, marital issues, rejection, failure, and stagnation. We believe it is done, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Have a wonderful day. 👏💗🙏
