Meditation:

    Contentment is a peaceful state of mind, feeling satisfied and at ease, even amid life's challenges. In his letter from prison, Paul shares with the Philippians (his fellow laborers) that he has learned to be content regardless of his circumstances. Despite being in prison for preaching the gospel, Paul remained joyful and was at peace. True contentment is not about having money, possessions, accolades, or having many friends; it is about inner peace, acceptance of ourselves and our circumstances. 

    We find contentment not in material things but in Jesus Christ, our Lord and King. When we trust Him and live our lives to please Him, peace fills our hearts. Accepting Jesus means our circumstances cannot steal our joy or peace. The key to living a contented life is being satisfied with what we have, giving thanks always for all things, rising above life’s struggles, and walking daily in God's purpose. 

Let us pray:

    Heavenly Shepherd, Savior, and King, we often struggle with contentment, focusing on what we lack instead of trusting in Your will. Forgive us, O God, for failing to give thanks and appreciate what You have blessed us with. Teach us, Abba Father, to find contentment in our situations and wait graciously and patiently upon You, O God. Keep our hearts from being anxious about what we don’t have, and give us grateful hearts so we can appreciate the gifts of Your blessings. Almighty God, please fill us with joy and satisfaction regardless of our circumstances. Remind us, O God, that You will never leave nor forsake us. Sustain and empower us, Lord, when we have come to the end of ourselves, the end of our selfish, self-seeking desires, and realized that contentment is only found when we seek You with our whole heart. In the name of Jesus, our Advocate. Amen.

    It is hard to satisfy the demands of self, never satisfied, always wanting more even to the hurt of it self. This is why selfishness must be gotten rid of. Only in God we can find peace and satisfaction. Let us continue to pursue God. Shalom. 🙏🙏

Good morning Scripture reading: Proverbs 3:5-6 Worship song: Trust In God   Meditation:      We often trust in pilots and drivers we know little or nothing about, believing in their ability to navigate the vehicle. We entrust strangers to lead us through storms of the air, land, and sea, yet hesitate to place our confidence in the Creator who commands the wind and the storm. Good morning Scripture reading: Hebrews 9:19-28 Worship song: I Give You My Heart   Meditation:      What are you willing to sacrifice? We often hear that we should sacrificially give our best monetary offering. However, does providing our best offering guarantee us a place in God's kingdom? Is monetary sacrifice our sole and highest form of giving? We look forward to the opportunity to sow seeds and bless ministries; nonetheless, we must remember that, while giving, Jesus expects us to sow into the Kingdom of God by surrendering our lives to Him.       The most valuable offering we can present to God is our life as a living sacrifice.
