Mothers – God’s Masterpiece

Image
Good morning Happy Mother's Day Scripture Reading: Proverbs 31: 10-31 Worship song: Building Bridges   Meditation:      Mothers are extraordinary gifts from God. A loving, caring mother selflessly sacrifices her own needs to fulfill the needs of her children. They stand steadfastly by their children through hardship and triumph, ensuring their little bundles of joy have everything necessary to thrive in society.  A responsible mother goes above and beyond to guarantee that her child(ren) feel safe, secure, and protected. The love a mother has for her child(ren) cannot be truly defined or measured by words. It is limitless, knows no boundary, and is unwavering. It dares all things and crushes down without regrets all that stands in its path.       Mothers are the backbone of the family, providing encouragement and support no matter the odds. Their influence on the lives of their children is immeasurable. Mothers are magnificent, fi...

Wandering Through a Maze

Image
Good morning Scripture reading: St. John 10:9-16 Worship song: Lead Me, Lord   Meditation:      Instead of succumbing to my fears of heights and avoiding the amusement rides, I boldly chose to navigate the maze. This challenge is designed to test how individuals can identify the correct path to the exit. As I ventured through the dimly lit pathway, I encountered a few dead ends. At one point, I thought I had found my way, only to realize I had taken the wrong turn, leading me back to the bottom of the maze. After navigating many wrong paths, I discovered the exit.       Life is simply a maze of opportunities, and it is all about making the right choices. We may stumble on the wrong path, choose poorly, err, and even falter, but through our journeys, we need to remember that Jesus Christ knows the way. He is eager and able to lead us along the way. Regardless of whether the path appears straight, narrow, crooked, or rugged, Jesus knows th...

A Plan to Terminate

Image
Good morning Scripture reading: Exodus 1:7-22 Worship song: Jesus Loves the Little Children   Meditation:      Historically, both Pharaoh, the ruler of ancient Egypt, and King Herod, the ruler of Judea, initiated schemes to eliminate all newborn males. Herod's motive was to eliminate the potential rival to his power, believing that the child prophesied to be the king of the Jews was a threat to his reign. Pharaoh's motive was similar to that of Herod. Pharaoh saw the Israelites as a potential threat, thinking that they would join forces with his allies against him. He tried to control their growth by enslaving them and making them serve with rigor. The plot against children is an ongoing dilemma, and many children have lost their lives innocently.       Children have the fundamental human rights to be protected and develop to their full potential. They are a heritage of the Lord. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. (Psalm 1...

The True Worshippers

Image
Good morning Scripture reading: St. John 4: 19-26 Worship song: Praise Is What I Do   Meditation:      In a powerful conversation with the Samaritan woman at the well, Jesus proclaimed that a time is coming when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. He profoundly declared that God is spirit, and those who worship him must do so sincerely, guided by the Holy Spirit. True worshippers wholeheartedly engage in sincere devotion. Their mission is to grasp the principles of God, uphold His Word, and incorporate godly character. Their thoughts, words, and actions reflect Christ-like behavior. Genuine worship is beyond mere rituals; it establishes a deep, authentic connection in which the heart and mind are aligned with God's will.       Regardless of the trials or tribulations that may arise, they remain resolute, holding firmly to God's plan and trusting his promises. True worshippers praise God in every situation...

Not Satisfied with The Husk

Image
Good morning Scripture reading: St. Luke 15:11-32 Worship Song: Satisfied Meditation:      The prodigal son, driven and blinded by his desire for freedom, ultimately faced the harsh truth of his reality, living a life contrary to what he truly valued. Like many of us, he embarked on what he thought was a pursuit of the best life, yet he later discovered that a life lived without Jesus Christ is heavily laden with sin and emptiness. Too often, we find ourselves comfortable in our struggles, settling for the husk of our poor choices instead of embracing the divine Grande cuisine that the Lord has prepared for us. How much longer will you remain unaware that the father stands ready to welcome you home? Don't you know you are more valuable than earthly gain? You are more valuable to God than earthly achievements.       Your purpose in this life surpasses anything you can accomplish on the earth without Christ. There is immense joy in heaven over ev...

If I Should Lose You

Image
Good morning Scripture reading: Mark 8:34-38 Worship song: I'd Rather Have Jesus   Meditation:      In today's fast-paced world, we can become so engrossed in our daily activities that we forget about God. Many of us made a commitment to Jesus Christ, yet we often let the distractions of life overshadow our devotion. In the days of Noah, people were eating, partying, gallivanting, enjoying life, getting married, and living ungodly lives. They have no time to worship God. Likewise, also, as it was in the days of Lot, they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built, and they had no time to devote to God. What can we possibly achieve without Christ? If I were to lose my connection with Him, I would be left with nothing.       Gaining the whole world means nothing if it leads to the loss of my soul. I would rather part with relationships, friends, and worldly possessions than sacrifice my relationship with Jesus. I...

We Have Power and Authority

Image
Good morning Scripture reading: St. Luke 10:18-20 Worship song: Step on The Enemy   Meditation:      Jesus has bestowed upon his disciples the authority to tread upon serpents, scorpions, and all enemies. The same empowering authority is given to every believer. We possess the right and liberty to exercise this authority boldly over every serpent and adversary. As children of God, we are equipped to trample on serpents and scorpions and every force of darkness. Nothing can harm us when we operate this divine power. Revelation 12 reminds us that the serpent, Satan, along with his cohorts of darkness, is actively working to deceive the world.       However, we will not be dismayed or discouraged, for while the serpent may bruise our heels, we are empowered through Jesus Christ to crush his head. Jesus Christ, the ultimate seed of the woman, triumphed over Satan through his death and resurrection. When the enemy strikes, remember we ha...

When You Have Jesus

Image
Good morning Scripture reading: Psalm 73:25-28 Worship song: Jesus Is You're All I Need   Meditation:      We can accumulate everything money can buy and have an abundance of wealth yet remain spiritually bankrupt in God's eyes. It is possible to surround ourselves with comfort and still feel miserable. We may pursue education and qualifications, but without true wisdom, we are still lacking. The True riches, comfort, happiness, and peace we seek cannot be found in material possessions; they are solely found in Jesus Christ. He alone qualifies the call, restores hope to the hopeless and sets at liberty those who are broken-hearted and shackled.       When God gave us Jesus, He gave us everything we needed. Our earthly possessions cannot be compared to the riches in glory that are stored up for us. When we earnestly seek Jesus, goodness, and mercy will surely follow us all through our lives. When we seek Jesus first and live by his precep...
