Not Satisfied with The Husk
Good morning
Scripture reading: St. Luke 15:11-32
Worship Song: Satisfied
Meditation:
The prodigal son, driven and blinded by his desire for freedom, ultimately faced the harsh truth of his reality, living a life contrary to what he truly valued. Like many of us, he embarked on what he thought was a pursuit of the best life, yet he later discovered that a life lived without Jesus Christ is heavily laden with sin and emptiness. Too often, we find ourselves comfortable in our struggles, settling for the husk of our poor choices instead of embracing the divine Grande cuisine that the Lord has prepared for us. How much longer will you remain unaware that the father stands ready to welcome you home? Don't you know you are more valuable than earthly gain? You are more valuable to God than earthly achievements.
Your purpose in this life surpasses anything you can accomplish on the earth without Christ. There is immense joy in heaven over every sinner who repents. Every day is an opportunity to turn from the pleasures of sin, the extravagant lifestyle of worldly pleasure, and turn to God. Don't wait! If you are weary and tired of feasting on husks and crave something more fulfilling, come home to Jesus. You will lose nothing of value except the burdens of sin that weigh you down.
If
you sense the Lord calling you through the Holy Spirit's conviction, answer
that call. Rise from your slumber, from the ashes of defeat, and turn to God.
Our Heavenly Father is compassionate, merciful, and kind enough to forgive you
of your sins. Open up your heart and talk to Jesus; He is only a prayer away.
Dear Heavenly Father, clothed in splendor and majesty, you are worthy to be praised. Almighty God, thank you for your unwavering grace. When my life was spiraling into sin, I turned to you, you heard me, and you rescued me, and for that, I am extremely grateful. Today, I lift up my friends, my loved ones, acquaintances, and family before you. I pray for those who have heard your words but have yet to acknowledge you as their Lord and Savior. I bring before you, Lord, the backsliders and those who have wandered onto dangerous paths. I pray, O God, for the lost sheep, that they will listen, obey, and return to you without rebellion.
Abba Father, I pray for those who
have drifted from their faith that they will hastily return to your open arms,
ready to receive the treasures you have retained for them. While they may seek
earthly satisfaction, may they turn to you to find true fulfillment while grace
and mercy still abound in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Have a blessed day. Shalom. 💕🙏
