Keep Your Heart Clean
Good morning
Scripture reading: Psalm 51:7-12
Worship song: Clean Heart
Meditation:
As part of the safety measures to prevent sickness, it is recommended that we sanitize, disinfect, and wash our hands regularly. There is another significant part of us that we need to pay attention to, and it is our heart. Our heart, however, does not need physical cleansing but spiritual cleansing. A person's heart reveals their true nature.
Jeremiah 17:9 reminds us that the heart is deceitful above all things, desperately wicked, and needs divine purification. We must carefully protect and maintain our heart, which is the source of our thoughts, emotions, and actions. We must be vigilant and careful about what enters and takes root in our hearts, as negative influences will inevitably shape our lives.
Matthew 5:8 says, Blessed is the pure in
heart, for they shall see God. While the ways of our heart may be hidden from
others, nothing is hidden from God, who knows the innermost iniquities that
abound in the heart of every human. We keep our hearts clean and sanctified by
allowing the Holy Spirit to work in our lives to transform our thoughts, will,
and desires in alignment with God's will.
Let us pray:
Everlasting Father, our desire is to be holy, set apart to be used by you, and do your will. We acknowledge the need for our hearts to be cleansed, O God, for new wine cannot be poured into a dirty vessel. Lord, please remove our stony hearts and give us hearts of flesh and a renewed spirit, promise to us. Almighty God, we affirm that our hearts can be corrupt and desperately wicked, O God, so we seek you to create in us a clean heart and renew a right spirit within us. Search our hearts, O God, try the reins, and judge us according to our ways and the fruit of our actions. Our hearts need you, Lord, the only true surgeon who knows and understands the heart's condition. Protect our hearts from negative influences and lead us away from anything that might lead us astray. We rely solely on you, Lord God, to guard our hearts, for out of them flow the issues of life. Thank you, Lord, for protecting us from the enemy's deceptive plans in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Keep safe. 💕🙏
The heart of every matter is the matter of the heart. Deceitful and desperately wicked as was mentioned earlier. Like xray, unless the hidden secrets or motives of the heart is revealed before it is exercised many will be deceived. Any event signs should not be taken lightly but be addressed immediately to prevent further injuries. Do not ignore warnings signs. The Holy Spirit should be present at all times for safety. Keep trusting His leading. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
