A Time to Celebrate

Good morning

Scripture reading: Exodus 15:1-21

Worship song: Celebrate Jesus Celebrate

Meditation:

To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven where joy and celebration are inevitable. Celebration is a spiritual discipline and one that we need to practice daily. There are many reasons to celebrate. While Moses guided the Israelites through the Red Sea to freedom, his sister Miriam, a prophetess, led the women in a joyous celebration with music and dance. With a heart full of gratitude, Hannah celebrated God's faithfulness after He blessed her with a son. With the rebuilding of Jerusalem's walls finished, Nehemiah guided the people in offering great sacrifices and rejoicing loudly in God.

Today, we commemorate the resurrection of Christ, our Lord, who, through his atoning sacrifice, provided salvation from the inescapable power of sin. The act of celebration serves as a profound affirmation of God's goodness, ushering us into a season of laughter, victory, and abundant joy. Our response to every blessing, big or small, should be a resounding glorification of God through worship, praise, and thanksgiving. Every hard-earned victory demands a celebration. There is always something worthy of rejoicing; let us rejoice in the Lord always.

Let us pray:

Almighty God, we come before your presence with thanksgiving in our hearts. This is the day you have made, Lord God; we will rejoice and be glad. We give thanks to you, Lord God, for you are good and your mercy endures forever. We thank you, Lord God, for every battle you fought on our behalf, for defeating the giants in our lives and removing the mountains that stand against us. Lord, we celebrate victory over sickness, sin, death, generational curses, rebellion, tribulations, and every weapon formed against us. We celebrate every waking moment and the opportunity to bask in your presence, to connect with you through the Holy Spirit. Lord, we thank You for fulfilling Your plans and purposes in our lives. Lord, I express gratitude for salvation, redemption, uncommon favor, mercy, grace, and every breath we breathe. You are the hope we cling to when circumstances seem hopeless. Thank you, Lord, for carrying us when our faith falters in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Wishing you long life, peace, and prosperity. ✌💕🙏

  1. We celebrate life this morning. How long have we lived and how many challenges we overcome. Time for introspection and action on our part. While looking back should motivate us forward for we have come this far by faith leaning on the Lord. Let us find joy in small or big accomplishment and rejoice and be glad in the Lord. It has been a mighty long way He has brought us. Let us give thanks with a grateful heart for what the Lord has done. The joy of the Lord is our strength. Have a wonderful day and keep on keeping on. 💪🙏
