Permanently Erased
Good morning
Scripture reading: 1 John 1:7-10
Worship song: Nothing but The Blood
Meditation:
Concealed underneath the layer of correction fluid on the closely examined written document lie all the inevitable mistakes neatly covered. It completely cleared the error providing a blank space to rewrite. This is similar to what God does. God offers us a divine correction fluid, the blood of Jesus Christ, that blots out our transgressions and removes them as far as the East is from the West. When God blots out transgressions, they are forgotten entirely. The stain of sin is totally erased, leaving no trace behind.
The significant difference between erasing mistakes with correction fluid and covering your sins is that error is covered to reduce unnecessary material waste, and sin is erased for your redemption. Note, however, that anyone who covers their sins will not prosper, but whoso confesses and forsakes them shall obtain mercy. Isaiah 44:22 assures us that through redemption, God completely removes our confessed and repented sins, as if they were a thick cloud that has vanished from the sky. God promises to forgive those who repent and return to him, assuring them that their sins have been completely erased. Therefore, be encouraged knowing that blessed are those whose transgression is forgiven, and their sins erased through the blood of Jesus Christ our blessed redeemer.
Let us pray:
Merciful and gracious Father, deliver our souls from the pit
of corruption, heal our hearts, and forgive our trespasses as we forgive those
who trespass against us. Lord, we acknowledge our transgressions and sins,
which are a stumbling block to our personal relationship with you and our
spiritual growth, and so God, we beseech you to wash us thoroughly from all
iniquities, and cleanse us from our sins. Have mercy on us, O God, according
to your lovingkindness and blot out all our transgressions. We confess and
repent of all our ungodly ways, believing, O God, that as far as the east is
from the west, so far you will remove them from us. We are thankful to you for
sending your son to redeem us and grant us the privilege to walk in perfection
through your grace and mercy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Wishing you an awesome day. ✌💕🙏
Isn't that wonderful. Only the Lord have that ability to erase our sins. We all have plenty and what would we do. Thank God for His cleansing blood, the liquid eraser that makes us new always. We can sing, we are a new creation and a brand new person. Blessings. Have a wonderful day. 🙏🙏
