Stand Your Ground

Meditation:

Those who commit to following Jesus Christ should anticipate ongoing opposition and spiritual attacks, as a believer will never be entirely free from the enemy's interference during their time in this life. The enemy knows you have a good future with God, but he tries to make you focus on current problems to make you afraid. When you are focused on the bad, you can't see the good things God has planned. The enemy wants you to dwell on negative circumstances to prevent you from seeing and trusting God's blessings. 

    To overcome fear, you must deliberately choose to focus on God's promises instead of the problems. Do not succumb to the enemy's plans. Stand firm, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Stand firm in your identity in Christ Jesus, confident that God is always with you. Find your strength in your relationship with God and the limitless power He provides. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. We must remain steadfast and resilient, refusing to yield during spiritual attacks. We are victorious through Jesus and have the power to resist the fiery darts of the enemy.

Let us pray:

    Heavenly Father, I am in Your presence this morning, giving thanks, O God, for this opportunity to communicate with You through prayer. I thank you, O God, that you never leave nor forsake us, that we have an anchor that keeps our souls steadfast and sure while the billows roll. Jehovah God, I humbly beseech you to bind all evil forces, eradicate the spirit of fear, and grant power to resist the devil and triumph over every backlash of the enemy. Strengthen our faith, O God, and grant us the spirit of endurance. Equip us with the sword of the Spirit, the breastplate of righteousness, and the gospel of peace. Almighty God, I pray that You nullify the influence of every ungodly spirit within us and conquer their power. Lord God, when the enemy comes in like a flood, we ask that Your Spirit will lift up a standard against him. Bring confusion to the enemy's purpose as we humble ourselves and surrender our limitations to you. We stand on Your promise of protection and deliverance. In the name of Jesus, our Redeemer and Savior. Amen.

Good morning Scripture Reading: Proverbs 4:14-19 Worship Song: Lord, I need you   Meditation:      A pothole is a depression in an asphalt pavement that varies in size and shape. If these cracks in the concrete are ignored, they may develop into bigger gaps, endangering the lives of pedestrians and motorists. Sin is like potholes: what seems like a little sin will eventually turn into habitual sin, until it reaches the point where we can no longer control what we do or say. If we do not avoid sin, we will soon find ourselves on the bumpy, rugged road, facing potential dangers. Good morning Scripture reading: Romans 6:11-23 Worship song: Grace Greater Than Our Sin   Meditation:      At the beginning of the chapter, the Apostle Paul refuted the misconception that salvation is by grace through faith. Based on his rebuttal, it is clear that the saints were disputing about sin, salvation, law, and grace. Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. Although the grace of God abounds with those who yield to righteousness, and his grace is greater than all our sins, we should not remain as servants to sin. Just as one person's disobedience made many people sinners, one person's obedience made many people righteous. Scripture reading: Luke 1:26-38 Worship Song: He Is Able   Meditation:      We often respond to life's challenges with immediate worry and fear, instead of trusting in divine deliverance, despite our faith that our all-powerful God is in control. When fear and doubt occur, remember that we serve a God who calms the stormy wind, helps the Israelites cross the Red Sea on dry ground, delivers them from captivity, opens the wombs of the barren, allows the elderly to conceive, causes a virgin to become pregnant, and performs wondrous miracles. The impossible for humans is possible for God.       God told Jeremiah, 'Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is there anything too hard for me?'
