Personal Testimony:

    Decades of commitment to God and walking in faith did not prepare me for the deeper revelation of the magnitude of suffering Jesus endured on my behalf. I thought I knew the cost of my redemption, but I have only just begun to understand and deeply appreciate the depth of Jesus’ suffering. Realizing Jesus died for my sins was enough to bring me to my knees, but truly understanding the brutal agony He endured for my redemption has left me stunned. 

    I was deeply moved by the intensity of His sacrifice, as reenacted in the film "The Passion of the Christ." Seeing the severity of His sacrifice has strengthened my faith and deepened my gratitude. While reading about Jesus' crucifixion provides a visual picture, watching it dramatized offers a clearer understanding of the scourging, the crown of thorns, the rejection, the betrayal, and the agonizing walk to Golgotha, emphasizing the significance of his sacrifice. 

    I am simply amazed by the magnitude of His boundless love for me and the depth He paid for my redemption. His blood was the currency that bought my freedom from sin so I totally surrendered my life in exchange for his victory.

Let us pray:

    Almighty God, I am amazed by the magnitude of your boundless unconditional love, unwavering grace, and tender mercies that are new each morning. Great is your faithfulness, O God, to a people who continue to procrastinate and wander from your presence. Father, forgive me for not spending enough time in your presence. Forgive me, for murmuring and complaining when I should be expressing my appreciation for your unlimited compassion and kindness. I surrender completely to you, Lord, repenting of my failure to commit wholeheartedly to you. Today, I renewed my broken covenant and vow to constantly remain in your presence where I can feast at your table, meditate on your word daily, and learn to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. Lord, remove the spirit of distraction, fear, and limitations so I can walk in your divine purpose. Almighty God, I appreciate your sacrificial offering for my redemption. Here, I am, O God, laying down my life before you as my living sacrifice, yielding myself to you once more and giving you complete control over my decisions, actions, and well-being. Mend the broken pieces of my life, O God, and let it be consecrated, Lord to thee in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Empowered By The Holy Spirit

Good morning Scripture reading: Acts 2:1-4 Hymn: The Comforter Has Come   Meditation:      Before ascending, Jesus assured His disciples He would not abandon them, promising to send the Holy Spirit, the Comforter. He instructed them to remain in Jerusalem until they were equipped with divine power from heaven to fulfill their mission to preach the gospel. This instruction and their obedience led to the events of Pentecost in Acts 2, where they were filled with the Holy Spirit while they were in the temple, praising and worshipping God. Good morning Scripture reading: Psalms 22:1-18 Hymn: Nailed to The Cross   Meditation:      During his earthly ministry, Jesus underwent human suffering. He was intimately acquainted with physical limitations such as hunger, thirst, and pain. He suffered deep emotional anguish such as betrayal, rejection, hatred, loneliness, and sorrow. He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with much grief. He experienced hunger and thirst during his 40-day fast and on the cross. Good morning Scripture reading: St. John 3:14-21 Worship song: Reckless Love   Meditation:      A person's life can be impacted by negative environmental influences resulting in choices that divert from God's divine principles. But no amount of self-justification can validate our sinful habits in God's eyes.   There is an issue when we live outside of God's will, because any desire that seeks to satisfy only fleshly, selfish choices provokes God. God does not have an issue with us making choices, nor does he forbid us from loving persons of the same gender, for He has commanded us to love our neighbor as we love ourselves, which is the second greatest command. What God has an issue with is when we entangle ourselves with persons of the same gender and indulge in promiscuous relationships.
